Hi @foalowaini ,

React enabled AEM project can be created using the latest archetype. Please follow the below links in order to create AEM based project:

https://medium.com/adobe-experience-manager/how-to-build-a-new-project-in-aem-with-react-as-frontend-6ef10b5a0f6b

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/spa-editor/react/create-project.html?lang=en

There are two ways to build and install your project on local AEM instance:

  • You can build the project using "mvn clean install" and then go to http://localhost:4502/crx/packmgr/index.jsp . Upload the zip file created in apps/target folder and install. This will install all of your code (UI and jar files) to the local AEM instance.
  • otherwise you can use command "mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage" and it will automatically build and install the package to your author instance. To upload and install in publish the command would be "mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackagePublish".

You can find these commands defined in your parent pom.xml file.
