Do I require MongoDB or TarMK for my site with AEM6?

Hi,

How to decide, if I require MongoDB or TarMK for my site with AEM6?

Please share a link or documentation which can help in decision/evaluation.

Regards,

Rohan

Check out http://dev.day.com/content/ddc/en/gems/technical-overview-of-the-aem-6-platform/_jcr_content/par/download/file.res/AEM6_Platform_WhatsNew.pdf. It has a lot of useful information - specifically slides 9 to 19. Slide 19 has a nice decision tree graphic.

You can also view the associated webinar at http://dev.day.com/content/ddc/en/gems/technical-overview-of-the-aem-6-platform.html.

There is another deck with more detail as well at http://dev.day.com/content/ddc/en/gems/technical-deep-dive-of-the-aem-6-platform/_jcr_content/par/download/file.res/Technical%20Deep%20Dive%20of%20the%20AEM%206%20Platform.pdf.

Hi, Rohan.

This article should help you in deciding: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/recommended-deploys.html
(There is a section specifically about selecting a microkernel.)

If you have any questions, let us know here in the community - we are happy to help!

Kind regards,

- Carey
