Email sent successfully but recipient not receiving any emails.

Current state :

AMS AEM 6.5 latest

ACS Commons' latest version.

Issue : 

  • Unable to receive email when using emailservice.sendemail in my custom workflow process while logs shows that recipient email id and message: email sent successfully.
  • Same custom code base is sending emails via fakesmtp server on local.

SMTP Configured

  • Getting emails when sharing the link of an asset or sending email using process step  in Workflow (Send templated email) of ACS Commons
  • From address , recipient address , email template is basic and same as the one's used for send templated email process .

The problem could be at the email server/SMTP server side.

The email queue or try using Gmail/any other SMTP server for testing.Could be a firewall also.
