How can I add local AEM environment to IIS or accessible via the internet?

If I have a local AEM environment, setup according to this how-to article, https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/local-development-environment-set-up/aem-runtime.html?lang=en

 

How can I deploy that environment to the internet? What security factors do I need to take into consideration if I successfully publish it on a subdomain or domain on the web?

To add a local AEM environment to IIS or make it accessible via the Internet, you can follow these steps:

  1. Install the AEM Publish instance on your local machine.
