How to see who launched the workflow in CQ5.5?

Is there a way how assignee of the particular workflow participant's step can see who actually launched the workflow, i.e. assigned that step to him?

I meant if there is a way how theAuthor or Content manager - those who actually shall act on some workflow steps (activate/deactivate or approve content) - can see who filed a request for them, or in AEM terminology: who started workflow in teh context of the specific content. I know how to access this info as a developer but I'm wondering if there is something in the admin interface where our users can obtain such information?
