Hi

Does communities project has import capability?

Can you pin point to the API/docs please?

    Could you be more specific?

    There is all sorts of material to get you started in the top post : README: About the AEM Communities Topic. 

    You might be able to customize the open source migration utility to perform an import.  It is mentioned in Upgrading doc found in the deploying Communities section.
