This error may occur when you run AEM 6.0 with Java 8. Java version 8, is not supported with AEM 6.0 until you install the service pack. If you are having that problem, install the service pack. You can follow these steps:  Download the most recent Service Pack (SP2) from package share or from our dropbox folder:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/h1dwxyxcvsw4dag/ServicePack2.zip?dl=0Once downloaded, go to the folder where you installed AEM initially, and delete all the contents in the crx-quickstart folder (you will be running a fresh install) so you will now have an empty crx-quickstart folder.In the crx-quickstart folder, create a new folder called install and copy the service pack  that you downloaded to that folder.The structure should now be: crx-quickstart > install > ServicePack2.zipStart AEM by double clicking the AEM quickstart jar, and when it starts, it will find the install folder and also install the Service Pack.  

Hi I want to create a french language copy of an English page but i am not able to see the more language names apart from "English " or English+" any idea how can i add more languages to the create language copy dialog drop down as shown in attached image

I am working on custom form action.So far I am able to achieve the following points.1. Added Custom Form Action.2. Overlap Forward.jsp page.3. From Forward.jsp able to successfully route to Custom SlingServlet.4. In Custom Sling Servlet I have the following requirement.     a. Get all request parameters     b. Send the request to third part application by using HttpClient     c. On response equals to 200 rout the servlet to Thank you page.Right now I have 2 issues.1. In HttpClient I am able to pass the request data if I hard code the value , but if I try to submit it by dynamically populated to NameValuePare Array even though values are there it is not getting processed.2. Hi Team,  I am new to AEM, we have installed AEM cloud in our local machine and try to create a project using Mavan, After created that project that its not active in system bundles section. I shows installed status. After see the details of the bundles, its shows "com.day.cq.wcm.api,version=[1.31,2) -- Cannot be resolved".  we try to add below dependency in pom.xml and re-build but still we face same issue: <dependency> <groupId>com.day.cq</groupId> <artifactId>cq-wcm-api</artifactId> <version>1.31.0</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency> Pls suggest what was we missing to build the project. However, we are experiencing performance issues where the Akamai cache flush causes high CPU usage and slowness on the AEM Publisher as every request is being directed to the Publisher.Could you please provide guidance on the best approach to resolve this issue? I created an environment hootsuite-media-exchange-partner-program-dev-rde to be unblocked. What worked:No issues logging into (https://author-p63004-e1445875.adobeaemcloud.com) with my Adobe accountAble to create a local token with my account onlyIssues that occurred:Could not create a technical account and got a 403 error (see attached) Another user, had the admin and developer credentials and he got the 403 error for a local token and for creating a technical account.I followed the steps in the documentation to create a technical account, and I keep getting the 403 error despite my account having the correct privileges. As per the documentation, it is required to create a technical account to use the REST APIs programmatically in production to list assets and their contents. Also, this hinders another developer from collaborating with me or another developer.

Hi, we are doing AEM as cloud migration, and in BPS report there Critical and Major categories issue.So here question is for all Major categories issue is it must have to fix or it will work if not fixing the Major categories issue? Thanks 

I'm looking for a security best practices guide or recommendation for AEM that includes how to manage secrets, for example credentials like API tokens, passwords or keys for third party services integrated with AEM. I'm not a security professional, though I'm curious enough to learn more about the area as getting security, less wrong, seems hard.   The AEM Security Checklist could be a good place, though it doesn't cover third party secret management as far as I can tell? Though perhaps it's more like Integrating with Third-Party Services - though again this doesn't seem to cover secrets directly (screenshots in specific guides like Salesforce look like it uses an HTML input type password field, though lack enough depth to see if the password just gets stored in another JCR node somewhere, or are more deeply locked down by AEM - is it even possible to know)? What if I have a third party integration requirement which doesn't have an AEM plugin yet?   For context, the well know

We have upgraded from 6.5.13 to 6.5.16 and after that page activation/publish and rollout page is not working. Does anyone had this issue and fixed it already? I am using AEM to manage experience fragments that are shared with Target. I make updates to the content of experience fragments regularly and would like to be able to keep a change history in case I need to revert to a previous version. I have not found anything in Adobe's documentation regarding a detailed change log or version control. Does AEM have version control for experience fragments? Hi all, I am building an API which will serve up some HTML for other websites to consume. The general idea is that there will be an experience fragment within AEM, and my API will grab the HTML output of this experience fragment and append that to the API response. Is there a way within Java that I can programmatically calculate the rendered HTML output of an experience fragment? The fragment will be made up of multiple sightly based components. Imagine an API response similar to this: { "cssLink": "mysite.com/path/to/some.css", "jsLink": "mysite.com/path/to/some.js", "html": "<div class='my-fragment'>...</div>" }

I have few AEM Users with different type of permissions like let's say User A is a content author and has access till pages only, while User B is a developer and has access till most of the nodes except few like he/she may not have access to configuration nodes etc.. While User C has access to everything and belongs to Admin group. All these users are in on-prem instance of AEM and I want to migrate to AEM Cloud Instance. How can I achieve this.?
