Hi fellow AEM users, Can we delete the Global English folder along with the pages originally built within it without repercussions?We are currently working only with live pages with no inheritance with Global English.I just want to make sure that deleting Global English won't accidentally break any other functionality inside AEM. Thanks!

I want to write a query in AEM query builder to fetch the cq:Pages under a path based on some tags in descending order based on multiple value.I am able to write the query but the sorting part is little tricky. We have to sort the result primarily on publishedDate. if it is not there then use the lastmodified date. Only the sorting part I'm struggling. Please help

Hi,   I am using AEM 6.5 version.   I have created a custom workflow model. Currently I am able to launch it manually for single page.   But my requirement is to launch a workflow automatically as soon as activate button is clicked on page or asset from author. I don't want to trigger workflow separately. Is there any default workflow which AEM provides. Or please suggest a process for automating workflow triggering. I don't want to do it from workflow launcher on replication date modified node change.   Thanks in advance.    

Out of the box RolloutManager provides below 3 methods by using that we can rollout the page programmatically. 1) void rollout(RolloutParams params) throws WCMException;2) void rollout(ResourceResolver resolver, LiveRelationship relation, boolean reset) throws WCMException;3) void rollout(ResourceResolver resolver, LiveRelationship relation, boolean reset, boolean autoSave) throws WCMException; When using 2nd and 3rd method we are able to rollout the page but the references will not get updated to the corresponding locale.This is because we are not providing the rollout trigger in 2nd and 3rd methods, so referenceUpdate action is not getting triggered.  In order to update the link references in the rollout page we need to use 1st method and pass/set the required details in RolloutParams class. Below is example code for setting the RolloutParams                      &n

Hi,I try to achieve the following:a component inside a LayoutContainer should span middle 8 columns for Desktop.However in iPad Retina Mode it should span all 12 columns.If I have resized component to 8 columns in layout mode desktop.switch to iPad device:If I try to expand the component back to all 12 columns it always snaps back to 8 columns.Any hint what I might be doing wrong ?Thanks a lot for your support in advance.--Volker

Hi all,Working on aio app builder(asset compute worker) to integrate the Photoshop action api. I have the Photoshop action file which has to do the below actionsApply a Photoshop Action (supplied) that will:Convert Colour Profile – sRGB (layers)Deep Etch (Flattened Image) Single Layer MaskClipping Path (post Deep Etch)and want to save the output as Layered PSD (non destructive to enable mask editing)JPG/PNG retaining clipping pathI have configured the processing profile to call the appbuilder worker code with the photoshop action file. I am getting the output rendition in the form of psd and png.. but i can able to see that psd rendition is not having the mask applied and png rendition is not having the transparent background. Getting background removed for both the psd and png rendition. In our QA AEM publishers, the mapping rules have changed, It now appears to be pointing to map/https/cps instead of map.publish/https/qa-cps on both QA Publishers. We checked the Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory in both QA publishers and the mapping location looks correct. Why would the mapping not point to our QA environment defined in Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory i? (the same configuration works fine in our stage and production publishers) Thanks.

Hi all,  we've a requirement to add the custom button in aem search page after selected single asset. The same feature we implemented in assets page using JS its working as expected. But, when we add the logic in ominisearch.js it is not showing the button even load the pages multiple time.  Please share your input to sort the issue.

Hi, I'm working on AEM Targeting via ContextHub implementation. While updating the config on the root page, I can see the brand listed in the dropdown. However, when I select the brand "Test Brand", the Area reference section is not loading, even though I have created everything as part of the setup. Moreover, we don't need to be part of the "Target Administrators" group, as it is only required for AEM - Target integration and not for ContextHub implementation. Can someone tell me what could be the issue?
