Adobe Experience Manager Sites

I am working on an AEM maven project where I have to consume a web service. I am using Eclipse for writing code and for its implementation using CXF library. Hi, I have an interesting requirement...I have directory that is currently CUG protected, meaning only certain user groups can access after authenticating. We have a new requirement where they would like to bypass the authentication if a vetted user clicks on the link (from an email). So, for example, /content/dam/locked_assets/xyz.pdf (CUG protected at the folder level "locked_assets") If someone goes to www.awebsite.com/content/dam/locked_assets/xyz.pdf,  it should redirect to login, butif you go to www.awebsite.com/content/dam/locked_assets/xyz.pdf?hasAccess=true, it should bypass login. It doesn't necessarily have to be a request parameter, but any other solution I'd be open to. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, We would like to monitor our Dispatcher Web Application (hosted on Microsoft IIS on-prem) with AppDynamics APM tool.But couldn't succeed with that as we are not sure which Agent/Controller to use to track the Dispatcher. We tried several ones to no avail.Anyone has experience about this? How shall we configure the AppDynamics so that we can monitor? 

I am trying to create an experience fragment for SPA by extending "cq/experience-fragments/components/xfpage". I just followed the instructions on the WKND site. I could see XF related features on the left side but I don't see any placeholder (parsys) to add a component. I double checked the index.js and entrypoint of the SPA which is provided by the AEM SPA Editor JS SD and.  Both Sightely and SPA entry has the root element "spa-root". But still the responsive grid is not appearing on the XF page. Note I have the same setup for a regular page where I could see the parsys. I am working on a POC focused on migrating a large set of cross-domain redirects to AEM as a Cloud Service. My organization currently operates two websites:Website A (main site): Currently hosted on Brightspot and in the process of being migrated to AEM Cloud (about 30% complete).Website B: Hosted on WordPress, with no plans to migrate the entire site to AEM. Is there any known issue with image core components in publish instance? It is loading fine on author but not on publish. I am noticing the image url shortening which is not letting the image to load. I am on 6.5.12 and using core component version 2.19.0

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well! I’m currently managing redirects in Adobe Experience Manager using the ACS AEM Commons Redirect Manager. Over time, we’ve accumulated a large number of redirects, and now I need to delete many of them in bulk. While I understand how to delete individual entries via the UI, doing so one by one is not feasible for the volume I’m working with. Is there a way to delete multiple redirects at once using a bulk action? Any insights, tips, or documentation links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards,

I have recently started working on AEM. I am creating a page template with a responsive grid system. I have followed all the points in the guide at the link Configuring Layout Container and Layout Mode. Still, the responsive grid system is not working perfectly.e.g This is what happens after I insert some content into the page and refresh it.The content is replicated on its own and it is not even being configured. Please help me in this direction. Have been after this for quite some time now.I am using AEM 6.3 and Maven Archetype 12.

Hello All,               I am trying to get logged in user session details in my java servlet like user name,password,group,permission and complete profile details.In case of administrator logged in I am able get all details successfully but in case of other user I am getting error of "Anonymous ".1.http://localhost:port/useradmin  AEM Page-  I have applied all r/w permission to my user.2.By using AEM my user login token I have checked my rest API method call and I am able get user session details in this scenario also.3.But when I am trying with same rest API method call from my HTML5 application I am facing the "Anonymous " error problem.Thanks Qamar

Hi, I am working on some requirements in aem with aio app builder. so i am trying to do the server based token authentication to aem in the app builder code. So when i try to give the json file path, i am getting no "Token file does not exist in the location", why? also, when i try to print the current directory path i am getting this  Current Directory: /nodejsAction/lp25kf3X. So i want to know how to read a json file from the js.. How to give the json file path in index.js?https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/authentication/overview.  One difference here is, instead of getting the filename from command line, i am passing directly in the code or from the AEM MCP to app builder request call. Please let me know if anyone knows the answer! Hi, I am integrating the photoshop firefly action in app builder. I have the photoshop action file that will doConvert Colour Profile – sRGB (layers)Deep Etch (Flattened Image) Single Layer MaskClipping Path (post Deep Etch)So i am calling applyPhotoshopActions (input, outputs, options) method which is from @61380/aio-lib-photoshop-api file. From AEM using the post processing profile, i am calling the app builder worker with the photoshop action file, i am getting 2 renditions, one as psd and another one is png. I want to save the psd rendition applied with  above mentioned actions also with mask applied(editing/croping mask), then for png rendition i want to save as a transparent background. Example output image i need is below.  Hope i need to apply the transparent background and layered mask for the output which is generated from applyphotoshopactions method. Hi, I had a requirement to migrate assets with metadata from one AME instance to another AEM instance. For that we are using app builder. I am facing an issue were my Js code in app builder is not working for large volume of assets and subfolders.I couldn't able to debug/ trace the logs which are added in the JS. My logs are stopped in between. even though the action is running in the background.  When running the app builder code in local, in the localhost session i am getting response was not ready(504) message and the activation logs stopped that time. Need your help how to check the logs and how to rid of this timeout issue. Note: I am using assets http api for the asset migration. Tried adding the limit in app.config.yaml file like below. I have updated the time limit for 5min. I was researching asset versioning, and found this explanation which describes page versioning at https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/sites/authoring/using/working-with-page-ver sions.html . It appears to be accurate for asset versioning as well; however, I was wondering if it is possible for an asset or page to reach version 2.0?

Getting this error: ContextHub UI is not initialized! Check your config.  The same exact setup works perfectly on my local instance, but not on this stage server and I don't know why. I have made a direct connection between AEM-Campaign and the connection is successful. I am using campaign classic and AEM 6.5.6 and OOTB email template/components. The campaign  cloud services value is configured with the integration, and the templates get synced to campaign. but, in properties for those email, in the Email tab, the campaign button remains disabled. In the Adobe Campaign tab, the Template drop down also remains disabled. If i edit the email by adding a component say, Text and Personalization, then i try to edit the component value, the campaign here also remains disabled. What should i do. (In campaign i am able to synchronise/desynch the email easily)
