 I am trying to add a JSON-LD script through a component in HTML. Will there be an issue on doing this? I have a bundle build locally in Java 11. But the in house AEM instance that I am trying to deploy to is running in Java 8. Will this create compatibility issue for the bundles once deployed to the AEM instance running in Java8? If yes, is there a solution on how we need to proceed?

Hi Team, I've just discovered that on my 6.5 in-house AEM DAM the metadata of the asset does not transfer if the asset is copied to a different location. In the Copy Assets section in this manual:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/assets/managing/manage-assets it says that date and date created will not be copied, which I understand.In my case I have an asset that came with the metadata from original source. I fixed the metadata (Title, Description, Tags, Keywords) on the original file, then needed to copy it to a new folder to have two copies. The new copy of the file is displaying the metadata it came with from the original source. Why did the AEM DAM not transfer the metadata that was added through the UI? Is this a bug? This means that my stakeholders who copied assets from the folder of assets with updated metadata are seeing wrong or non metadata at all. Hi all,I'm having a hard time knowing what the pros and cons of RDE vs a local environnement is. I have a full scrum team that will shortly be working with a cloud AEM instance and it has been suggested that I use RDE environments rather than local environments on my developers computers. Naturally I have a tendency to think that a local environment is required to properly build an entire business website, but perhaps I am mistaken. Is RDE a viable option for a development team? And what should my preoccupations be?

Hi,We have a requirement in our project to create the mixed media set programmatically for the files having similar file names of 13 digits. There' already imagesets create automatically. Similar way we need to try for mixed media set if there's images and videos having same 13 digits add it to the mixed media set. Is it possible to create mixedmedia sets programmatically? 

Since Adobe is deprecating the Service Account (JWT) credentials in favor of the OAuth Server-to-Server credentials for all integrations in all AEM authoring envs, does this also impact code integrations where we have used Adobe Query Builder API - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/full-stack/search/query-builder-api for programmatically searching through assets in our Adobe Authoring env since currently in order to leverage this API integration , we have bene using JWT credentials but does those creds also stop working in Jan 2025 and we would need to switch to oauth ?

Hi, We have a couple of variations of the RTE table and so we have implemented a couple of dropdowns on the styles rte plugin to add the class at the table level. However, the OOB plugin for table is not selectable to add the styles. only the table's cell and content with in the table are selectable and so styles can be added only to them. Is there an option to select the entire table and apply styles apart from using the source edit option?I am trying to avoid dom manupulations at the sling model level as well. any JS validators or other front end level fixes are possible? Note: We are in AEM as a cloud service. Thanks in Advance.S

Hello People Anyone has faced issues with new Certification Portal? I have given two exams since Adobe moved to ProctorU. 1. Guardian Browser is painfully slow in Apple MacBook.2. The proctors seems very joining the session. 3. After you clear the exam, it is taking ages to get the shareable certification even though I have passed the exam. I have given an exam on 4th of Nov, 2024 and passed it. I am yet to receive the official certification.  Anyone else facing similar issues?  Prithvi

I am using SPA site in AEMaaCsCurrently we are hosting whole AEM  code base in a single repository . AEM core, dispatcher ,ui.frontend, ui.apps everything in a single repository Now when i try to run a frontend pipeline with below settings  and build is failing  Should i separate frontend code into a different repository and use "Site Themes" to manage SPA components js files ?https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/sites/administering/site-creation/quick-site/overview  If i need to convert my current ui.frontend folder into a "Site Themes" structure , how to do it ? Please advice. I have a requirement I have to display a ID from the text box which I added in the dialog field (rich text) <span class="num"></span> and I am calling it using sling model class and used like this ${practice.Response @ context='html'}  and in Js i have given element.innterhtml it is working if I give it in HTML instead of passing it from the dialog. I was getting <span class="num"></span> as an plain string instead of html element as below so how to achieve this

When switching from Older CF editor to new editor, The Content Reference field doesn't accept the URL apart from internal URL starting with /.On the new editor I'm not able to click Add after adding any external URL. Is there any configuration that needs to be updated.

Currently in our project, the 404 error page are customized for diff locale and brands.The redirect is happening via IIS, where all our URL redirect logic is handled like url shortening etc. No issue here. Problem statement : Current 404 page redirect logic is handled via model class extending WCMUsePojo where we query aem for 404 page and return the appropriate 404 page content which is html by calling this page as resource and fetching the html content and returning this through a getter method via model class. This rendering of html page content initially was done via jsp page but the problem is coming when it is converted to sightly. Hi, I'm building a custom servlet that just output hello world. I have using the wcm/core/carousel/v1/carousel as my superType. However when i add two slides the slides are stacked one below the other. This is the same when i use weretail carousel component as well. Any reason for this?

Hello Team, In my AEM application, I have tab component. Kept "Component-1" in 1st Tab item section. In this feature, from backend logic, I am fetching the data from 3rd party application via GraphQL. From this I am getting many details like: values, images list. Now, in 2nd Tab item section, I have kept " Component-2". Here, In this component, I need to fetch the same values as above. But, I do not want to call 3rd party application again from my backend.Note: I cannot move the logic of calling the 3rd party application via graphQL to javascript.So, I am thinking about Once I get the data from backend of "Component-1", need to keep this data in cookies, or local storage. Then, utilize the same while displaying the data in 2nd tab item section. Let me know your opinion. Thanks in advance

The issues that occurred:Could not log in with my Adobe account after de-hibernating (https://author-p63004-e514305.adobeaemcloud.com)got the error "Failed to authenticate with Adobe ID" (see attached  Could not create a local token with my user and got a 403 error (see attached)Could not create a technical account and got a 403 error (see attached)Pipeline deployment failed after running for 12 hours 

in AEM cloud one particular site contexthub-ui-iframe is loading by default and it is overlapping the Menu Bar and Content tree. Author facing difficulty while authoring. anyone suggest how to hide it by default.

Hi All In our setup we are using AEM translation project and XTM as a translation connector. AEM translation have the ability to reject translations and even add comments . However, Our translation connector doesn’t support the rejection reasons/comments feature. I’m curious if anyone else is using a translation connector that does support a rejection workflow. It would be super helpful to know if there are any good alternatives out there! Thanks for your help!
