We have QA publish pages when we try to access them its going to AEM login page first. Its working fine on other env. what could be the reason

Hi Team I have created a custom log at system/console/slinglog with log level info and additive false I have selected correct java file from core. I can see log file is created however logs are capturing when I trigger any page which uses this java file. I can configuration is also created at /apps/system/config/org.apache.sling.commons.log.LogManager.factory.config......  but not sure why logs are not capturing even though I have logger statements. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I am working on sling content distribution. I am able to successfully work on forward (author to publish) and reverse (publish to author) content distribution.  The issue I am facing..when I am creating a custom collection for forward distribution on author environment a rep:policy is also created for that collection in author but when I am able to push the changes to publish environment I do get the newly created custom collection on publish instance but I do not get rep:policy published to publish instance of that collection. When I try to add /content/dam/collections|-.*/rep:policy to Vault Package Builder Factory I get configuration error for the distribution on author environment..does anyone know how to get rep:policy of a collection distributed from author to publish environment or vice-versa? This is on AEMaaCS..

Hey All, We have many components that load dynamically rendering through react in front-end. These don't have markup in slightly as it is generated dynamically via react code based on the scenario. How can we make these pages SEO indexable? Does keeping dummy markup in HTL files help? Any other suggestions?

I am writing a long-running job that is expected to be intensive and long-running. The Asynchronous Operations looks promising and the Jobs console is nice similar to workflow console, showing job status, logs etc.    How to write a new custom async job? Am able to create sling job, stores into /var, but it is NOT showing in Jobs console. How to get the custom jobs show under Tools --> General --> Jobs console?

Hi, we are using AEMaaCS, trying to create vanity URL and found that Vanityurls-component package is not available on Software distribution, where as in publish environment I still don't see "/libs/granite/dispatcher/content/vanityUrls.html". Do we have any alternate approach for Cloud Service to deploy it through pipeline or kindly help me where can I find it?

Hi All, I am looking to create a custom video plugin for the Rich Text Editor (RTE) in AEM. The goal is to enable users to browse or drag and drop videos from DAM (like image or any other way) into the RTE editor. I chose the RTE over the Universal Editor due to its better documentation. Also, I would like suggestion to finding proper documentation on how to use API references and methods related to this custom implementation. If you have any suggestions for best practices.

According to this => https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/redirect-manager/index.html, Redirect manager is compatible with AEMaaCS but I'm unsure how to get the Cron+bash script (the script that downloads the redirect maps from publisher) into the dispatcher.I am not sure if AEMaaCS lets customers run cron job. Thanks

Hi Team,I am performing in-place upgrade from AEm 6.3 to AEM 6.5. Everything worked fine and my server got updated to 6.5.0. Now, I wanted to install the service pack 9. After installation of service pack, when i did a server restart - login credentials doesn't work (same login was working with 6.3 and 6.5.0).Is there any way to login to CRX/DE?NOTE - I have tried login via localhost:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html but no success!

Hi all! I'm hoping to be able to set up a launch branch (A) say, from July 1s that gets promoted live (C) on July 30th. I'd like to start another branch (B) on July 15th from the same origin page, but then promote the changes from branch B to branch C, for a final live version of the origin page from branches A and B (assuming the changes don't conflict.)  Does anyone know if this is possible via launches or some other functionality? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,  I'm trying to install the adobe I/O CLI plugin for cloudManager to authenticate Performance but it's giving me error when I run the command to install plugin. I try running this in home dir and in project dir but no luck. Hi , Could some one help me as how to replace the custom format. I copied from /libs to /apps i.e /apps/cq/xssprotection/config.xml and added a new tag like below and it worked<tag name="newtag" action="validate"/> But have few more issues on this in RTE could you please provide your inputs that will be very helpful. Now in RTE we have added this tag under paragraph to give an easy to author instead of using source edit 1> When they click on it shows as the newtag from paragraph option in RTE and then click on h1 , h2 tags from paragraph it does not remove <newtag> from text already selected. But when you first try with h1 for new text and then you select h2 it will replace the tag as h2 without any h1 tag in it. So need inputs here as when we select newtag from paragraph option in RTE and then click on h1 , h2 tags from paragraph it does not remove/replace <newtag> from text already selected to just h1 or h2 tag Below is the issu

as an example: I have a workflow step that will find and replace instances of the word "quick" and replace it with the word "expediate". This will do the find/replace on author and if the page has been published, it will replicate it to the publisher. I'm using com.day.cq.replication.Replicatorto do the replication. Since I'm moving to AEMaaCS, do I also need to use another class to get it work? thanks
