Hello @kautuk_sahni , We are trying to create a Replication Preprocessor in AEM Publisher which should execute for Activate and Deactivate and Fire an API call if the page is deactivated with Page Path and Page Template, as this api has to be called only for few templates. We are able to execute it successfully but we are unable to get hold of resource as it is already deactivated while this preprocessor is executed. We need resource details as we need to check with if the item is Page or Asset and get template name if that is Page. Any thoughts will be appreciated or please help me in connecting with appropriate members if in case. Thanks  Shashi

Hello every one , I want to get references from a node whether if it is a page , asset , experience fragment. Is there a way to get references in java. I used APIs which will be trigerred when i click on publish button. but these apis are different for each node. It is different for page , experience fragment , asset e.t.c.  My requirement is to filter out some references. particular resource path should be stored in a variable.  By using /bin/replicate I am getting all the references and resource path in path parameter . I cannot know which path is actual resource and which are references.

Hello all , I have to filter out properties for replication. I used below logic . it is working fine in local machines but accepts(Property prop) is not getting called in cloud environment. can we make a connection between AEM Assets and AEC Assets so i can have same folders and assets on both at same time or i can push pull between them?

Hello, I just recently came across an issue with image assets not displaying on a page that was recently published after it was published using the "Publish to Preview" workflow. I had to navigate to each image asset in the DAM for the images to display and run the "Quick Publish" command. This leads me to ask the questions below.Is there a preferred and optimized way to present new page layouts and updates to approvers?Is there something wrong with our publishing workflow?The "Publish Page" command in the editor should re-collect the image assets when this command is run. Thank you in advance!

I am trying to work with experience fragments and want to achieve two of the following.Create and use a component as XFI have a carousel component and i want the individual carousel slides to be an experience fragment?I cannot find any good resources which help me in achieving this . They all point to page experience fragments.Do guide on how to move forward for the above

For example, if there is an image authored on the English page stored at "/content/dam/project/asset/image.png," when I run the translation job for the Spanish page, it creates a new folder "/content/dam/project/es/asset/image.png."This leads to an increase in size and the overall package size, which needs to be moved in a higher Environment.

As part of a site we have a login/subscription model that will restict content visibility to the end users. We want to implement this as a paywall (lead-in) functionality. i.e. when i am logged out/web crawler/logged in but not with the right subscription, then you only see a small portion of the content on the page so that the site can still be crawled by  We want to do this in a way that the page in AEM has all of the content that can be visible, and we want to make using of dispatcher caching of the content.We don't want to use a javascript function to hide the content as you can inspect the spite, or view page source to get the entire content which will violate the subscription model. Is there any way within the dispatcher of caching different versions based on the users access, or a way to have a cached response based on the cug groups.

Hi, I would like to ask, we have a Distribution Event listener which is used to apply a custom property (named as lastPublishedDate) when the Distribution Event Type is "ADD". We see that it is being intermittently applied to pages once we published it. And on the logs, we get a Persistence Exception error: Unable to commit changes to session, therefore, published pages didn't have the said property. What would be the cause of this and would there be a more appropriate architecture for this funtionality? Thanks!

I'm attempting to upgrade to the latest SDK and I'm getting an error saying that Geronimo and the SDK are both trying to export the same version of the directive `javax.json`. I have an requirement of email service implementation in my aem project, what are the ways to implement this service. and which is the best way to execute this.

I have setup an AEM as a Cloud Service project on local along with the Dispatcher. Initially, the dispatcher was working fine but after some days when I tried to start it again, it resulted in showing 502 Bad Gateway error. In terminal, there were messages like "Unable to connect to backend farm, no publish farms available". I tried reinstalling docker, dispatcher as well as publish instance but then also the error remained same. Is there a way to resolve this?

Hello, what happens is that I have a component that shows a list of products, these products are content fragments, what we did is that we update the content fragments, when we go to the author it looks nice and updated, but when we go to publish the products are duplicated and not only that, the duplicates have the old information. We have already made a support ticket with Adobe to clean the CDN and dispatcher cache but still the same problem. What else can I do? I don't know if the problem could also be because when we deleted the old content fragments we didn't click on unpublish.

Would like to ask what the difference between EventHandler vs Preprocessor?We have a use case that certain property would be added in case there would be a publish action. Currently, it is applied to an event handler, and it seems that this properties were intermittently applied, whereas there is another property we added on preprocessor, and seems to be working fine.

We have a salesforce form and needs to move the form to AEM and get the leads information in Salesforce . I followed the documentation given by Adobe Integrating with Salesforce | Adobe Experience ManagerBut Unable to identify the third party services as given in the document."In AEM, navigate to Cloud Services. In Third-Party Services, click Configure Now in Salesforce."I did not see this option in aem SDK as well as dev instance. Please help to resolve this issue.Thanks

Hi team,I need to get the Scene7Asset from dynamic media using Scene7Service. Scene7Service has a method getAsset. "getAsset(java.lang.String assetHandle, java.lang.String[] responseFields, java.lang.String[] excludeFields, S7Config s7Config)".What should be the responseFields and excludeFields that has to be passed as params? Is it aem asset properties or dm asset properties? Please respond if anyone has worked on this.
