We are on AEM 6.5 with uber-jar-6.5.15We are trying to use log4j 2.x.x in order to be able to use lambda expression in log statements. How can we achieve this?

Hi everyone, Can you please help me with a task that I have. I need to setup Jenkins in one of our virtual machines and configure the pipelines so that our AEM project code gets deployed on to AEMaaCS. We currently use only AEMaaCS for all the deployments, now we want to reap all the benefits that Jenkins brings to the table. I am a fresher and I do not have have any experience with Jenkins (or) AEMaaCS.  It would be great a help if you give me any ideas or guide me. Thank you.

I need to configure AWS KMS client  downloaded from AWS to run in AEM to access the AWS KMS Key Store.  How do I configure this.and how can the AWS KMS Client from AEM call the AWS KMS KeyStore?

We are using a lot of content fragment on our aem 6.5 project. On backend we do search for content fragment based on path and datetime combination. Recently we have added a custom property oak index only for our content fragments. From the query performance tool we checked that query is picking proper index.But the problem arrises when there is any update on content fragment data the query result is still the same. If we manually reindex the custom oak:index that we created, then it works again.Also sometime the result is not as expected. But got fix if we manually reindex the specific oak:index.What could be the issue? Are we missing something? I am sharing a screenshot here.Note: The querybuilder console result and code result is always same for the same query. 

Am seeing some issues with id attribute in AEM rich text editor. IN RTE if i use the the following:<h2 id="how">Hello</h2> -- Works well. Second case: <h2 id="how?">Hello</h2>in source edit once you try to edit again, it becomes<h2>Hello</h2> id with "?" is not allowed it seems in Richtext, i need to allow it, as in normal html its allowed. Has anyone seen this issue.Need a Quick solution.

Hello Team, We are trying to use Core components Accordion component in our project to speed up FAQ pages development.AEM Version: 6.5.2After configuring all panels and other steps defined, we see as below:Issue: It seems styles/JS does not apply by default. Items are not clickable as well. Do we need to write custom JS/CSS to make it working or at least It should work as  by default implementation and then according to Project req, we can further enhance styles etc.?? Regards,AP 

We implemented dynamic dropdown in content fragment using the reference of https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/dynamic-dropdown-content-fragment-model/m-p/459200Now, what if I want to pass the request parameter while calling the servlet. /bin/dropdownList?paramName=paramValue this is not working. Can anyone please help me with this.

Hi there,I am having a hard time with a page properties select box.Ever had the problem, that your options become cut, when the select is the last field or the only field within a tab? (see image)We are extending the wcm-core page v2, which is extending the basic page of aem. I noticed no major differences between our tabs and those of the basic page.To solve that problem partially, someone could add own css to their project. However it is hard to overwrite the createpagewizard css.Also, it would be like cracking nuts with a sledgehammer Is it coral ui 3 specific?Any suggestions?Thanks!Greetings,Marvin

It's April 20th, 2021 and for the last hour, I've not been able to sign in at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/ nor have my coworkers. I'm using a PC and I've tried logging in on this site using Chrome, IE and Firefox, all with no joy. It's as if the Signin button and several links (I didn't try each and every one of them) are all inoperative. Is anyone else having this issue today with this site?

Hi, I am trying to set up dispatcher flush agent, but when I try to access /dispatcher/invalidate.cache endpoint using dispatcher url, I get a 404 error. I am using AEM 6.5 with latest service pack and dispatcher version 4.3.7. Dispatcher is configured on IIS 10 server. Few things which I already tired out :1. added publish IP under /allowedClients with allow permission.2. Added Allow dispatcher cache/0093 { /type "allow" /url "/dispatcher/invalidate.cache" } under /filter in dispatcher.any I can see the following error on trying to test the connect:Appreciate any support from the community. Regards,Smrithi 

I would like AEM in cloud  to call ADFS on prem. AEM will send name and id to check in ADFS. ADFS returns the response as found or not found.  How do I do this? Is it done from DocAssurance service or are there services in AEm that can be leveraged to achieve this functionality?

I would like to embed the digital certificate obtained by using public key on the pdf form. The AEM site https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/forms/developer-reference/programming-aem-forms-jee/performing-service-operations-using-apis/digitally-signing-certifying-documents says NOTEBefore you can digitally sign a PDF document, you must ensure that you add the certificate to AEM Forms. A certificate is added using administration console or programmatically using the Trust Manager API. (See Importing Credentials by using the Trust Manager API.) I generate the certificate and store in s3 bucket. Does AEM have a storage to store the certificates . The AEM documentation says loading certificate from administration console.  This is not clear to me

Hi, We have a requirement to redirect detail/article pages from one location to another location for the scenario of old article bookmarks.Old article path : /content/project/us/en/category1/articleslist/article1.htmlnew article path : /content/project/us/en/category2/folder1/articleslist/article1.html The below redirect rule works in local aem dispatcher on windows machine (apache 2.2 windows 64 bit). However, the same rule does not work in aem as a cloud service dev environment. RewriteRule ^/content/project/us/en/category1/articleslist/(.*)$ /content/project/us/en/category2/folder1/articleslist/$1 [PT,L] One difference i could observe is that in my local aem instance, I don't have shortened url paths rules to facilitate article paths  http://domain/us-en/category1/articleslist/article1  should the above rewrite rule be written with * and to remove /content/project/us/en in order to work on higher environments on aemaacs ? Any pointer

Hi, what happens is that I have a servlet that brings information from an endpoint, this is a Json of products, and I already have a component that renders all the products with their values. But what I need to do now as there are many products, is to make pages to each one but dynamically, is there any way to do that without using AIO or CIF?

Hi , We are in AEM 6.5.17 and we just migrated to 6.5.21 . Launches in AEM are getting deleted automatically and we do not have any traces in any logs. We reached to adobe support and they could not trace the event of deletion in any logs. Is there a way to track or recover the deleted launches ? There are also possibilities that someone mistakenly deleted the node in CRX, in this scenarios how do we track down ? any better way to monitor ? This is happening periodically on the WIP launches and it is affecting the business . Please suggest how to tackle this?

Hello, I'm using Netcentric AC tool for AEMaaCS environment, for our user-management. Ths issue is that I can't add the same group for example for stage and prod environment, as while testing it on local environment package insatllation gives following error Exception while installing configurations: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Already defined authorizable: test-role-editor-EN found in configuration file: /apps/netcentric-stage/testing/test-role-editor-EN/config.yaml! This authorizable was already defined in another configuration file on the system!So the configuration is defined under packages /apps/netcentric-stage/testing/test-role-editor-EN/config.yaml and /apps/netcentric-dev/testing/test-role-editor-EN/config.yaml 

Hi All, We know that ‘Bread crumb’ components renders the navigation link items based on page content structure.But, my client has asked to customise that based on user navigation journey.Use case:I have a page ‘/content/app/us/en/abc’ and it has a link to navigate to ‘/content/app/us/en/xyz’, now the ask is the moment I land on the ‘/content/app/us/en/xyz’ by clicking link on ‘/content/app/us/en/abc’ page, my Breadcrumb should show navigation items as‘English -> abc -> xyz’ instead of  ‘English -> xyz’ To implement this from FE through JS, there are chances of flickering issues.Is there a way to do it from Backend by fetching ‘Referer’ (i don’t think that is not feasible)Is there a way to achieve this or better way to address the ask? Thanks,Raju

Created Language masters and the language copy here: /content/experience-fragments/abc/xyz/language-masters   Now, I need to create Country folders under: /content/experience-fragments/abc/xyz/  I tried to refer above video, was checking for "create Site" option of any similar option for exp. fragment. Not getting this option. So, curious to know, how can I create country nodes (and the sub pages)Happy to pass more information. Thanks in advance.

On page creation, page move, etc., can an alert somehow be added to warn the author the page name already exists instead of AEM creating a page variation with a number at the end?
