Adobe Experience Manager Sites

We are currently using AEM 6.0 and it is currently pointing to NFS storage for repository and segment store data. Can we create another AEM 6.0 instance and point that also to same NFS location?

I am trying to write test cases for below existing code.  Test a node exists, if node exists get a node property and return. I have an AEM site which has a page blog. Over there all the blogs we create in the author show on that page.Recently I have been thinking about having an author profile page. So Readers can visit their profiles and learn about them.Is there any way to make the profile page sync with the ADOBE IMS account or do I have to create them manually like we create pages?  Suggestions or Any Step can be recommended thanks.

On the new editor i can't see where to close the page? 

I'd like to only allow lowercase letters to this field. Is there a way add this or change the validation regular expression?The field has some validation, but I can't find where this is set. The field checks on spaces and wierd characters, but not uppercase letters.

Hi Everyone,We have request to rename very large number of assets. We tried using session.move() from the JCR API and AssetManager.moveAsset() from com.adobe.granite.asset.api. Both do not modify the Collections which the questioned assets are part of. We are looking for there a direct way we can rename assets by preserving all their Collection references and if there isn't such we would like to know what can use to retrieve the collections each asset is member of so we can modify them to hold the new asset paths.Thank you very much!BR,Bobby

I installed a bundle to test the price for an ecommerce site. Hi everyone,I'm working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and trying to set the disabled property to true on a specific field within a Content Fragment Model. My approach so far has been to directly modify the property via CRX/DE Lite. Here's what I did:Navigated to the path: /conf/(project-name)/settings/dam/cfm/models/(model name)/jcr:content/model/cq:dialog/content/itemsAdded the disabled property and set it to true for the desired field.However, I've encountered an issue where this property is lost when I make changes to the Content Fragment Model, such as renaming a field or adding a new one. It seems the disabled property does not persist through these modifications.Is there a recommended approach or best practice to ensure that the disabled property remains intact for a field, even after making changes to the Content Fragment Model? I have created a new project using maven archetype49. I am trying to check the template available, I do not see any layout container to add components in the template or pages. I am unable to edit anything.For further reference I tried to check we-retail templates those as well are empty and  I do not see root layout container.Please refer below snapshots.1. Hello, I would need some help if anyone knows the solution for the below ask. Our client has published some of their secured documents to their Dynamic Media as part of their publishing process. Since the Dynamic Media open on public servers, they want to remove all of their documents from the Dynamic Media. They dont have all of the documents list, so they want to get removed all of the documents by specific MIME type.  Please let me know if this possible or any solutions

we have aem-6.5.20 on-prem version managed by AMS currently we have saml integration for static page paths as below/content/mysite/eu/en/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/de/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/fr/private-portal We configured in saml section in configMgr with Synchronized Attributes . it is working as expected till today Now our new use-case is we wanted to do sso for dynamic page paths instead of  static page paths.We have login button in header section of all pages. if user clicks on login button then we need to do saml authentication programmatically and do the sso. Also we need to get the Synchronized Attributes from com.adobe.granite.security.user.UserProperties object. In this case i need to remove the saml config from configMgr. Not sure how to start and where we need to pass certalias key programmatically. Thanks in advance for your solutions and suggestion.

I want users to be able to move assets arbitrarily between any two given directories in AEM. However, I need them not to be able to delete assets. How can I accomplish that currently in AEM as a Cloud? I've seen a few posts about this but they all suggest options that are not available currently in the Cloud offering.
