Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Adobe has documentation about how we would use Pipeline secrets and ENV variables to use a Private Maven Repository.Is there something similar for the FrontEnd Sites projects and NPM??e.g, if in my package.json I had this.."dependencies": {"my-private-repo": "git+https://${GITHUB_PAT_KEY}@github.com/My-Organization/Private-REPO.git"}I have been sandboxing this, and found that: Simply having GITHUB_PAT_KEY as a Pipeline secret does not work, as NPM is not picking up on the ENV variable.We cannot have exposed PAT keys in the codebase, and so the PAT must always be an ENV secret somewhere.I have tried using a npm preinstall which would insert the PAT key from process.env, but the pipeline is not able to run npm preinstall.Using git submodules or similar may have problems due to the predefined npm commands that the pipeline is using..In short, how do we use a private repo as a dependancy for our Sites theme where it would build using the pipeline?

We recently did inplace upgrade from AEM 6.3 to AEM 6.5.The default value set in a dropdown using select component worked fine for touch UI with following setup but not working in 6.5.selected="{Boolean}true"In 6.5,the default value setup is not working there by always displaying the top one in the deopdown. Please advise ASAP. 

From AEM publishers we have user dashboard which fires multiple graphQL queries to the backend through AEM HttpConnection in java. Is there a way to cache those ? 

I can navigate to the particular templates folder via Url directly, but Templates does not show the folders. It happens only in Cloud envs.In my local AEM Cloud SDK, it works fine. What could be the possible reason and how to resolve it?

Hi ,  I am trying to enhance one of my custom component by adding an additional field on dialog . Nature of field is mandatory ( i.e. required="{Boolean}true" ) and hence we have put default text ( value="some text" . But this mechanism works only when the enhanced component is dragged ( and dropped ) newly on a page. For an existing instace the default values do not get populated ( even if I try to open the dialog and edit ). Some event is triggered for new instance (drag-n-drop) but not able to capture that event in edit-config or somewhere else. Also there is a potential risk that if I am able to find that event and trigger it using custom js function the other existing fields values as well will be overwritten ( or made blank). I have a folder "/content/dam/abc" where i need to upload zip file then once i uploaded there will be custom workflow which will be triggered validate the zip size, folder count, subfolder count and other validation using some metadata property like "dam:Content", "dam:size", "dam:FileCount", "dam:extracted". currently i'm migrating the dam Asset workflow to AEMaaCs and where Asset compute service is interrupting the zip validation process. When Custome workflow triggered this value is not generated in cloud "dam:Content", "dam:size", "dam:FileCount", "dam:extracted" so the workflow is failing as the required property not available.  Can any guide me how to handle this issue??

Hi All, We are trying to implement personalisation for A/B testing for a AEM component using Context Hub. We have 2 variations of a Component and we need to personalise based on 50-50 Split. So out of 100 users 50 users should see variation1 and 50 users should see variation2.This will not be based on Chrome brower or any such condition. We need to do it using context Hub.Is it possible to do that using context hub. If yes,how can we implement that. Adobe target it is possible but can it be done using context hub ?    

Hello everyone. We have been requested to use a new CSP directive in the project, the directive is CSP: report-uri or CSP:report:to. The problem is that these directives send an http-post request against a uri, which would be from the project itself in AEM. Reviewing the AEM documentation, we have seen that you can only make a POST request, when the user is logged in and has a CSRF-token, and it has to be sent in the POST request so it does not return http-error 403. Do you have any idea how we could implement it? Thank you very much.Best regards

I am using AEM 6.5 AND i have a component in which RTE plugin is available for the description field. Through this RTE I can add table to my description. Hi. I`m running a 6.5.19 version of AEM.Recently i had to replace one of my servers, making me notice that the new server (with a copy of the old one) has a size of 7GB. My backup server has a size of 20GB (they should be the same). I thought this could be resolved with a revision cleanup but i don`t know if that is not the solution OR if the revison cleanup is not working.Whenever i try to run the online revison cleanup manually it takes less then a second (when the guide says it can take up to 2 hours) and the same for the offline version.
