Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hi all, We are working on a use case where we must cache a proxy request. For example, we have a path /us/en/load (sample path) where we pass through this request from the dispatcher to a third-party back-end server (which is not AEM). RewriteRule /us/en/load https://third-party-server/us/en/load [PT, NC, L] We also have multiple paths like these so that any leads would be greatly appreciated. The subsequent resources of the page(s), like images, CSS, and JS everything, come with a folder like /_identifier/static/front-end.css so we need to cache this /_identifier/static folder too in the dispatcher.   

Is anyone else having trouble accessing courses? I click the blue "Start Course" button, but it takes me back to my empty dashboard. I was able to watch courses and videos last Friday, but now I can't. Thanks in advance to whom ever can help.

Hello Devs,I have one requirement where javascript code should load every time for every page.I went through the clientlibs approach but below challenges I am having with current project -1. They have multiple page components to Author different type of pages2. There is no common clientlib i have observed till now which loads for every page Please can anyone guide me what should be the correct approach to deal with such cases.Thanks  

Requirement: Any content change under var folder for a project specific path should be replicated to publish instance.  Approach decided: Forward sling distribution.   Post configurations deployment on cloud environment. Agent is getting created on environment along with all the configuration are also in place. For the content changes triggers are also working and request is reaching to agent, as we can see request in agent logs. Forward sling distribution is not working in AEM cloud. we are getting below error. org.apache.sling.distribution.common.RecoverableDistributionException: not enough rights   Although same configuration we have used on AEM 6.5 local instance and it's working fine. Background: I have pages that are tagged with CUG policy to allow read access to the page to the user who belongs to a specific group. The access for the end-user works as expected. However, I would like the service user to have access to all the nodes in JCR tree regardless of if the resource has CUG policy set or not. I have added the service user to exclude from CUG evalution using following config. However, the service user still does have access to the resources that are tagged with CUG policy (group). Below is CUG exclude OSGI config that I updated to exclude the service user. (Adding service user principal to the list)org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authorization.cug.impl.CugExcludeImpl  However, the service user still does not have access to the resources that are tagged with CUG policy. Would appreciate any input, suggestion, recommendation from the AEM experts in the community.

Is there any configuration on Fastly CDN to block the request on Fastly itself from hitting my AEM publisher or dispatcher?? It is to do with AEM Sites not with Commerce....

Hi, I need to exclude two paths from my search results and hence I have added my paths under property excludedPaths in the node: /oak:index/cqPageLucene-custom-11. But still I could see the two paths in the search results.I have changed the reindex property to true, waited for some time so that it chnaged to false and the reindexCount got updated. Still could see the paths in search results.Kindly help.

Hi,I have created a custom replication agent. I also created the TransportHandler for it, where I check the replication type. Based on the replication type, I make an external API call and send some data.In the Dev environment, it's working fine. But in the UAT environment, when we click "Test Connection" in replication agents, it responds with 200 and works correctly. However, if we activate it, the replication queue is blocked. What could be the issue?

Custom Event Handler is not getting triggered on click of Publish/Unpublish to Brand Portal in AEM Cloud environments - We have a custom event handler named DAMReplicationListener.java in our codebase and it is getting triggered on click of Publish/Unpublish to Brand Portal on AMS but it's not getting triggered on AEM Cloud environments. We have registered our custom event handler named DAMReplicationListener.java using the event.topics value as "com/day/cq/replication". Can you please let us know the reason why it is not working on AEM Cloud?, Also please let us which event.topic we need to use so that on click on Publish/Unpublish to Brand Portal our custom event handler will trigger.

I am using the ACS sitemap feature to generate the sitemap for my site. This is rendered on the page with .xml extension.However, the security checklist recommends disabling .xml extension in the Apache Configuration."As a preventive measure disable the other default renderers (HTML, plain text, XML). Hi, I am facing an issue where I am seeing a lot of console errors on loading any page, as soon as my custom code is deployed. As a result of which, when I load the custom components in the page, I see that the page height keeps on increasing.I am using archetype 48 and is deployed in AEM 6.5.20 with forms package. In my maven project, I am using Document services for rendering XDP to PDF. I am struggling to identify the root cause, I dont see any errors in error.log as well. Kindly suggest/advice. Thank you in advance.   Regards,Smrithi

Hi Friends ,  Whenever user Activate , Deactivate or Delete AEM Pages. Changes are not reflected on Sitemap XML. Is there any way to deal with this?

I am trying to enable SSR rendering in IO Runtime with no success, writing down the steps which i have followed seeking for urgent help. 1. POM changes: update namespace and authorization in parent POM2. OSGI config changes: 3. Put a comment in AEM component4. IO runtime server should return HTML code along with comment between (<div id="spa-root"></div>) HTML tag which is not happening.

We are trying to extend OOTB AEM com.adobe.granite.auth.saml.SamlAuthenticationHandler, but since this bundle does not have any exported packages in AEM .
