I created a custom Process Step in my workflow and checked "Handler Advance" & "Do not retry workflow job on failure" in the workflow properties.When this Process Step encounters an error, it throws a WorkflowException.However, even after throwing the WorkflowException, the status of my workflow remains RUNNING.Is this normal?How do I handle WorkflowException correctly?

Hello Community - HTML Library Manager (for clientlibs) is using the system user "clientlibs-service" and having read permissions for /apps, libs, var paths, For some reason, the permissions are getting overwritten in our environments. I have already verified that it's not something we're overwritten, Can someone tell me if you have encountered similar kind of issues and because of this issue inline clientlib impln is not working. is this something we can assign/retain the permissions via repoinit configs so that we can preserve the permissions. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

We are using AEM cloud service and attempting to implement permission-sensitive caching. We have created an authentication checker servlet that verifies whether a user has access to a page or not. This servlet is functioning correctly and returns a 403 status code for unauthenticated users, as seen in the request.log.We have also properly configured the dispatcher authentication checker, including setting the servlet URL and filter path to restrict access. Additionally, CDN caching has been disabled.The problem arises when the dispatcher log returns a 200 status for secure pages, even though the publisher returns a 403 status based on the publisher log. We are able to view the secure page even when logged in as an unauthenticated user.The provided code is an example of what we have written in the dispatcher to return a 403 status. We are unsure if this code is supported in AEM cloud. We are experiencing similar issues with the 500 error page as well, although the 404 page is functionin

Hello everyone, I've created one ajax function which has servlet path in it so, whenever I am trying to submit my form, my servlet is not getting hit. The response (in developers tool) from that servlet is coming blank but it is showing response code as 200. I've done following debugging but still facing the same problem:-1. Added my servlet path in script resolver.2. Removed Post method from Adobe Granite CSRF Filter.The same code is working correctly on my colleague's local machine and production as well. I tried all different ways to work with that servlet but nothing is working on my machine.Please help me to find a solution regarding this. Regards, Sayali

Hi. Recently, there was a issue in our GTM we were not receiving events from the website. We were unsure why this issue was happening as there were no major changes made that could have affected it. During our analysis, we realized that there was a conflict between GTM and the Adobe Datalayer, which had not occurred before. Hi all, We have our website running on AEM 6.5 AMS which is interacting with Intershop via a shared cookie. Once the user is logged into Intershop, a cookie is set by Intershop for the loggedIn user details. This cookie is leveraged by AEM to show the loggedIn user and cart info on AEM pages. AEM has a servlet (invoked from topnav) which reads through all the cookies in request and matches cookie name and then updates the header. This is working fine in AEM 6.5 currently. We are now migrating the website to AEMaaCS and on our cloud dev environment, we are having issue that even though the cookie is correctly set by Intershop but when the servlet is invoked from AEM, it is not getting the cookie using request.getCookies.  I checked and the servlet call has cookie present in request headers but in below code, it is not retreived.  Below is the code from servlet to read the cookiespublic static JsonObject getCookieAsJson(HttpServletRequest request, String nam

Hi Team,          I have a requirement, i want to add Strikethrough plugin for Content fragment. when we create a content fragment we need to select CFM model. in that model, while we select MF line text and default type as Rich text, can we add Strikethrough plugin in this RTE? suppose i am dropping video component on page. while authoring that component i am choosing video path from dam as pathfield but it is supporting all extensions file type .i have to restrict it should support only .mp4 or mov file type. how to do that thing in AEM. As i am new to AEM please help me on this. 

Hi Team I need some help on setting restrictions on folder Consider I have folder project1 under path /content/dam/organization and I want only group1 and group2 to access this folder others should not be able to view project1 folder. I have tried setting permissions by going to /security/permissions.html but deny jcr:all to group1 and group2 and everyone however it is working reverse like group1 and group2 not able to view /content/dam/organization/project1 folder others able to view. Please correct me and my requirement is that  /content/dam/organization/project1 should be viewed by only group1 and group2 users. Thanks in advance.

Hello all! I have a service set up that runs sub-workflows in batches based on a set size (currently 15 but configurable to other values). It is multi-threaded (I have tested the concurrency and it appears to follow an appropriate ordering 100% of the time). The goal is to have a parent thread call workflowSession.startWorkflow(...), wait until the workflow completes, then release its thread back to the pool (I'm actually using a semaphore and an ExecutorService which might not both be necessary but shouldn't affect how anything works). The way I am accomplishing waiting until a workflow is completed is waiting the thread on a monitor stored in a map with the key being the workflow id. An EventHandler listens for workflow complete events and calls notify on that map at the workflow id (these are currently lining up properly). The issue that I am having is that I have a while guard (surrounding the wait call) that loops while the workflow.isActive(). Hi everyone,I have created a content approval workflow in which I am using OR split with 3 branches. Branch 1 is for Approval, branch 2 is for Rejection and branch 3 is for auto advance handler if there is no action from approver group in specified time. In branch 3 (Auto Advance Handler) I am using OR split with 2 branch. Branch 1 is for approval and branch 2 is for rejection. In the rejection step, I am using workflow initiator participant chooser to assign the workflow back to author. Once the workflow is auto advanced to next step and Site administrator reject it, it is getting assigned to author. But the problem is now when author request for approval using step back to site approver group, it is not going to site approver group but directly going to site administrator group (which is part of auto advance handler) within a few seconds. Workflow Model Can anyone suggest how to overcome this so that if author assigns it back to site approver group again it should stay

Hi All, We are trying to integrate Ivanti SAML into AEM publisher. We are getting a 403 error in the saml_login path. I have dynamic media integration configured under tools -> cloud service -> Dynamic Media Configuration with the valid credentials provided.As a result I'm able to see my assets are connected to dynamic media (scene7).The problem is after each build/deployment in all environments (i.e. local, dev1, stage etc.) the dynamic media integration is getting disconnected and the existing images are breaking only alt text is shown in edit mode, but in published mode its fine.To fix this, again I'm going to the configuration and clicking on connect to dynamic media and refreshing my page ,after awhile my broken dynamic media images are working fine.Any solutions to fix this?

I couldn't find any guideline about the Cache Control settings for Images delivery by Web Optimized Delivery on fastly CDN. There isn't much information is given in documentation about Optimized image delivery. Core image component Cache control setting in WKND project is for 30 days because the URL changes whenever we update the image. Could we do the same for Web Optimized images as well?Does WebP image URL change based on timestamp like Core Image Component?
