Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hi all, Many of our pages have our own javascript and third party library, such as jQuery. It looks like AEM disables those scripts when is in edit mode. When clicking on the "Preview", most of functionalities will come back, but not all. Then we will have to get rid of the "editor.html" selector in the URL in order to fully load the scripts. Is there any way to prevent AEM disabling the javascript? A good example is that when using jQuery Cycle2 for slideshows, the sling model loads all the images from the backend, but AEM disables Cycle2's features so that all image heights are added up, making the page's height huge. Testing wcmmode doesn't work in this case. Thanks! -kt

Hi, I am facing an issue with ui.apps and ui.frontend modules. I have built both the modules with maven commands but the changes are not reflecting on page. But when I manually export the clientlibs to the aem server then the changes are reflecting. But the core is working with maven command.   NOTE: I have built whole project and checked. Only backend changes are reflecting but not frontend. Commands used for build:Whole project: mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackageUi.apps: mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage    @arunpatidar @lukasz-m @BrianKasingli

We have installed custom javascript for the editor.html > Granite UI via <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:ClientLibraryFolder" dependencies="[cq.authoring.editor.sites.page]" categories="[cq.authoring.editor.sites.page.hook]"/> We have installed in on development-AEMaaCS, and it works. When we push the same code to staging-AEMaaCS, it is not working. How can we solve this problem. We directly reviewed the cq-authoring.js that is produced on the editor.html.Reviewing the cq-authoring.js on development-AEMaaCS, our changes are thereReviewing the cq-authoring.js on staging-AEMaaCS, our changes are NOT there How would we properly refresh the cq-authoring.js on staging-AEMaaCS, so we can see our changes as expected?

Hi,I have a text component on this page("/content/abc")  wherein I add link "contactus"(/content/abc/contact) using link option.I opened the page(/content/abc) and clicked on contactus link then the page url changing from "content/abc" to configured page path that is /content/abc/contact.Is this the expected behaviour. I want the contactus form should open in the same path content/abc without changing path urlCan anyone help me

In my site i have a search bar on my UI where user can search for any specific page which starts with a letter or having that word in the page name. let suppose i have these pages "Check user details", "Check employee details", "User checkout timing details". And now user is searching with the keyword check, so it should return all the pages having word "check"

Hi,  I am trying to to activate a PDF/Image from DAM assets but the Flush has not been triggering even though they are successfully activated, however the HTML files does not seem to have the issue and i have allowed the PDF in the /invalidate section. Any pointers here. Tried it with the OOTB WKND site as well and seeing the same issue. 

I'm working on a headless Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) project where I use React for the frontend. After initially facing CORS issues during local testing, I followed  advice to configure AEM's CORS policy, allowing http://localhost:3000 and updating allowed methods to include OPTIONS for pre-flight checks as well as POST, as my React app needs to perform POST requests to the AEM Assets API. After these adjustments, I'm now encountering a 403 error when attempting to create a new folder in the AEM repository using the Assets API.  Update 1: From what I see in the logs, need a CSRF token.com.adobe.granite.csrf.impl.CSRFFilter isValidRequest: empty CSRF token - rejectingcom.adobe.granite.csrf.impl.CSRFFilter doFilter: the provided CSRF token is invalid  Update 2: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/developing/advanced/csrf-protection.html has solved the cors issue

I have a component. Nothing needs to be authored on the dialog for this component. The content is dynamic for different users.Now, user data is being stored at Java level in a service in an httpSession object. How can I get that data to be rendered in that component's sightly?I've written a model but it is not working.Also, the component's sightly code is like belowWhat am I doing wrong here?

Hello Everyone, For one of the feature in our AEM application, when user click on login, 3rd party login page is opened. User will enter the username, password in that. Then, on successful login, this redirects to my AEM application page and we are saving the user details(user-token, access-token) in browser cookie.  Then onwards, Application checks, whether the user details cookies are present in browser or not. If yes, that means user is logged in.  Is it the right way of storing the user details in browser cookie? Or any other approach is there instead of using the browser cookie?How can I mitigate the risk of: if someone deliberately modifies the user details cookie. Thanks in advance.

Hi Team,  Over the past few days, we have observed that while trying to connect to Adobe Status APIs via OAuth token, we are getting error - {"error_code":"403013","message":"Your IP is not allowlisted"}. We did not have to allow any IPs earlier and were able to access the APIs successfully. Can you please let us know if there is a change in process for consuming the APIs or is there anything else that we need to do to get the valid response? Hi Team   I'm hoping someone can help clarify an issue I'm facing with caching SVG assets in ClientLibs. I have implemented rules in the dispatcher (similar to the ones below) that should ideally set a max-age for assets within the ClientLibs loaded via etc.clientlibs. However, when I run a Lighthouse report, I'm not seeing any of the SVG assets in the resources folder being cached properly.   <LocationMatch "^/etc\.clientlibs/.*\.(?i:json|png|gif|jpe?g|svg)$"> Header set Cache-Control "max-age=15780000,s-maxage=86400,stale-while-revalidate=43200,stale-if-error=43200,public" Header set Age 0</LocationMatch> I've verified that: The similar rules on other assets in the content/dam folder.  The SVG assets are located within the resources folder of the ClientLib. I am not sure if it is not applying only for SVG from etc.clientlibs. or other assets like JPEG or PNG as I do not have such files in resources as of now. I cannot deploy them as this issue is

Basically, I am performing a search on pages that have articles component and pages that do not have articles (brought in new)Earlier the sort was happening based on the articleDate. Now, that I have pages without articles.
