Hi, In manage publication when a page needs to be published by author, the request will be sent to approver.In AEM cloud is there any way when a page is modified by an author and an approval for publish is requested, the approver should be able to see the page(s) with the modifications highlighted. Thanks.   #aem #workflows  

I have created a content fragment in English and have created a live copy of the CF inside /europe/uk/en/. When I synchronize the language copy, all the changes are moved to the live copy. There is a use case when I need to cancel the inheritance , and there is an option which mentions that, when you click on Edit Live Copy but even when checking the Live Copy Suspended checkbox, which should ideally cancel the inheritance, the synchronize is still happening. Is there an OOTB way to cancel the inheritance in this case?

Hi,I tried to check the runmode in AEM in order to add the script accordingly to PROD and non-PROD environments. When I try to execute the code both the script is displaying in the PROD and non-PROD environment. I have a requirement to embed Instagram images/videos to our website. I was using embed component for that, it should be working by default for youtube, facebook, instagram etc. It is working fire with youtube/facebook and recognising the url but while adding any instagram url it not recognising at all(throwing error msg- this embed url is not supported).   I did some investigation and found it works via oEmbed API and all endpoints/schemas/API url can be checked from here https://oembed.com/providers.json here it is given as  https://graph.facebook.com/v10.0/instagram_oembed while in our confMgr it is diff. I tried replacing it with this url, Insta url is then recognised but still image is not appearing on page. Any suggestions? 

I have a custom container that implements the LayoutContainer in my sling model, and extends the Container on my frontend in my React class. Everything is working, however, when the page initially loads in the SPA editor, the child components don't show.  Although they do show after I open the dialog of my container, and confirm changes.  It appears as though the GET request to the components model does not happen upon the initial load of the editor page, but does happen after I confirm changes from the dialog, thus the children show and are editable after that:

I'd like to use a custom asset (based on cq:Page as jcr:primaryType).I have managed to extend the create button to create my custom asset in a folder in the DAM.In classic UI (/damadmin#) is see my custom asset in the list and can manage/edit it.However, I don't see my custom asset not in touch UI (/assets.html).How can I register my custom asset for that it can be picked up as datasource for the collection displayed on /assets.html? Many thanks in advance,Benno 

Hi AEM Community, I am generating User Groups and their permissions via AC Tool following the below documentation -https://github.com/Netcentric/accesscontroltool/blob/develop/docs/Configuration.md After I deploy an updated YAML file to my AEM server, I can see that the ACLs are successfully changed. However when I "download dump" and compare the local version of the YAML file to the one that I just deployed to the AEM server, I see many different permissions for groups. Shouldn't the two YAML files be identical? (except for out of the box AEM groups) Thanks.

I have created a new template and using that template I'm trying to create a page. But the page properties window is coming empty. What can be the issue?  

We have a number of content fragment models that reference other content fragments and which we return using API calls. One of our cloud environments started failing to return results for a referenced model. This is an example of what that looks like. I've simplified and made this more generic than it is in reality. If I have two templates A and B whenever I create a page under template A but it should always use template B how should I achieve that?

I have seen documentation that only explains allowedChildren, allowedParents, allowedPaths as properties can be set on STATIC templates. How about editable templates. Where can I add these properties? Can it be done in Touch UI?
