Hello All, We have created a Content Author user group from Admin Console in cloud and assigned some User profiles to that group. I can see that group in AEM test instance but not sure how to hide Page Publish and Page Unpublish options from page properties for this group. I tried disallow rep:write permission for /content/project-name path but still its showing publish options. Any ideas on how to hide this options?

Hi ALL,            I'm facing issue on getting dropdown fields for show hide functionality. The logic is  --> dropdown having three options     *no Fields    *A Fields    *A and B Fields1) when user selected "no fields" there will be no fields to show2) when user selected "A Fields" there will be two fields will present3) when user selected "A and B Fields" there will be four fields          *two more fields with additionally with A fields  please let me know any custom code to acheieve this

Hi Friends,I am implementing context hub-based personalization in some of my pages. to achieve this I am loading the below resource on my page header<sly data-sly-resource="${'contexthub' @ resourceType='granite/contexthub/components/contexthub'}"></sly> However, as soon as I am enabling context hub, page load time drastically increases leading to 10 sec. Up on investigation, i found that /etc/cloudsettings.kernel.js/libs/settings/cloudsettings/legacy/contexthub library is taking more than 6 sec and blocking DOM rendering. Is there any way we can finetune this library and reduce load page time?

Currently RTE spellcheck plugin doesn't provide spelling suggestions so we want to utilize browser's default spellcheck functionality. For that we need a right click inside RTE to work but its disabled.Does anyone know how can we enable right click inside RTE?

I implemented style system for one of my components and it works fine for both author and publisher. The CSS classes were wrapped on the outer div of the component in author and publisher, but the same is not happening in the dispatcher.  Did anybody face the same problem? can somebody please help? Thanks in advance.

My FrameMaker wouldn't connect to the AEM repository. The default port is 4502. I tried to change the port to 80, as per the technician I have for a support call. Now, connections are totally messed up and I can't get back into the management console to connect and correct.

Hi All,I am trying to use the Header XF from one site (which both are in same domain and are in my content hierarchy). When in my new site pages I point the Header XF to the XF which is used in another site then it doesn't picks up it's corresponding CSS although my JS gets loaded. Even in network tab i can see that my CSS is listed. It''s just that it doesn't get picked up.Thanks!

When I was overlaying one of the OOTB Form components (guidetextdraw) from /libs, I found that we have to copy the whole structure present under /libs to make it work. If we delete any JSP's or nodes, it doesn't render. Is this expected or am I doing something wrong?

Even after publishing the CAconfig changes, changes are not reflected in publisher domain. Changes are reflected in view as published mode.this issue is not replicated in local instance, in local instance it is working fine in publisher. But in publisher domain the changes area not reflected.what are the possible scenario creating this issue.

Hi AEM Community,   We are pushing some custom indexes (updating) via code to Stage and Prod. But for some reason couple of indexes are not getting updated.   We have tried couple of builds but nothing worked until we tried the below- We installed an empty package to remove the indexing and then triggered the build. Can Adobe please confirm the exact behavior of dispatcher during concurrent requests for the same page, when that page is either expired or not yet cached? Will Adobe CQ receive multiple concurrent requests for the same resource? Or will dispatcher only request a rerender once, have subsequent requests wait until that has completed, and then serve the same response to all requests which had accumulated up to the completion of the rerender? Or, for those resources which have expired, will dispatcher serve the previously cached version to concurrent incoming requests while it is waiting for CQ to complete rerendering it?For example, mod_cache and varnish documentation are both very explicit about the mechanisms they offer to ensure that the origin server (CQ) never receives concurrent requests for the same resource, but I am unable to find this information in the current dispatcher documentation. Any clarification is greatly appreciated!

Hi,I am putting my acls in format allow;jcr:all;product;/content in Day CQ Acl Setup xml file. I need to restrict certain pages for some groups but allow most of the other pages to be editable. All these pages are within the same hierarchy. When i allow access of jcr:all to the parent then those access are being inherited by child pages irrespective of the fact that i have also defined jcr:read for child pages. I moved these permission one after another and reversed the order as well but nothing seems to affect at all. I was using useradmin screen to view my changes and using 5.6.1 AEM instance.There has been an observation where if you provide more access to a group and then remove access then you have to manually change the user permissions from the user admin screen. I downgraded the permission but that did not affect at all as well.I looked at the documentation at link but seems a bit unclear on the inheritance front.When you set allow or deny permission on a given node then 3 scen

can we make DAM pdfs not searchable from search engines?

Purpose: I want to refresh parsys component after deleting child component in it.So far, after insert component into parsys there is Extjs function to refresh the parsys, just configure as below under [parsys/cq_editConfig/cq:listener]<cq:listeners jcr:primaryType="cq:EditListenersConfig" afteredit="REFRESH_SELF" afterchildinsert="REFRESH_SELF"/> But there is no [afterchilddelete] function to configure.Thanks :)

Hi,when working with Content Fragments or Templates and we modify them (as AEM devs), the property cq:lastModified gets updated accordingly after publishing locally.We then need to make sure that cq:lastReplicated is present and not older than cq:lastModified. This process is conducted manually by developers. Is there a way to have the values of cq:lastModified and cq:lastReplicated to change, but only when editors make updates (last modified) and push those updates (last replicated)? Thanks,Tina

I have a Custom Component with a path browser to the CF's . However when I send this component for Translation the content Fragment that is being referred does not attach to the project for Translation. I have defined the rules in the below in the config file but it does not seem to work. HiNeed to create global header and footer components which would have dialog for properties which can be updated by author and changes should be reflected across the all pages .We used design dialog to implement above functionality but issue with using design dialog is that it created properties per template,and that spoils our purpose of giving author a functionality to update global values .Is there a better way to achieve above functionality
