Hello   We have facing compilation issues while compiling the project code based on archetype 45 in Harness pipelines.   The same come is building in- local- Jenkins- CM pipelines   Jenkins has static build server and we are deploying a fresh container in Harness every time pipeline executes.We have other projects from older archetypes, which are compiling well in Harness.   Need some guidance on how to resolve the issue.   Error encountered: org.apache.maven.cli.MavenCli - Failed to execute goal org.apache.jackrabbit:filevault-package-maven-plugin:1.1.6:validate-package (default-validate-package) on project ******.ui.apps: Execution default-validate-package of goal org.apache.jackrabbit:filevault-package-maven-plugin:1.1.6:validate-package failed: Exception in validator 'jackrabbit-nodetypes' while validating file 'apps/*****/components/carousel/_cq_editConfig.xml' (line 4, column 37): Could not create node type information for path '/apps/*****/component

Hi Team, We are facing issue with rendering of special character like é from request parameter and it renders as ? on page source on dispatcher url, where as on publishers renders fine.We checked the org.apache.sling.engine.parameters settings and utf-8 is set and dispatcher httpd.conf also UTF-8 is set asAddDefaultCharset utf-8 url - example  http://localhost:4502/content/abc/en/home/search.html?model=coupé from publishers renders character fine but dispatcher shows on page as coup? Also when try hitting like http://localhost:4502/content/abc/en/home/search.html?model=coupé&_charset_=ISO-8859-1 renders character fine on dispatcher.on page <meta charset="UTF-8"/> is already set. Kindly share on inputs to check on same.

We are enabling dispatcher caching on author (AEM 6.5 AMS). We have set enableTTL as 1. Caching is working fine for us. But the issue comes when we need to clear the cache on demand.We are using ACS AEM Commons Dispatcher Cache Control Header - Max Age. The cache gets cleared automatically when the max age is reached but we need the provision to clear the cache whenever required. I have tried using Postman but it didn't work for us as Adobe documentation says "When the enableTTL flag is set and there is a corresponding <filename>.ttl file present in the cache, .stat files will not be considered when determining whether or not the requested <filename> is stale." Is there a way we can clear the entire cache?

I am using AEM 6.5.15 and have configured a content fragment configuration and model under my site for persisted queries. I saved a query via GraphiQL editor and am able to execute the same via the editor successfully. But when i execute the same using below URL, it is resulting empty results. https://localhost:4502/graphql/execute.json/<my-site>/tagged-cf-test%3Blocale%3Dabc-app%3Alocales%2Ffr_CA%3B (fetching the content fragments on the basis on custom locales tags I have created).Please help in case i have missed any configuration. P.S I have already configured my graphql endpoint in CSRF filter list.

Hello All, There might be different reason for the page performance issue. As an architect, what are the steps we need to follow to increase the page performance ? 1: Check the network tab to see the list of image file size. If its too huge, ask Author to correct.2: Use the defer keyword while calling the JavaScript.3: Check the Adobe Launch script.4: Use the lazy loading feature for the different core components.5: Enable minification in production. Anything else, we need to take care?

Hi all... I would like to make use of the core components (V 2.11.0) into my AEM project (V 6.5.4). I added the wcm components core, config and content dependencies into my poms and tried to extend the v1/container component, but I have the following error, "com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.LayoutContainer cannot be resolved to a type". I'm kind of lost here since my experience with AEM has been brief. Thanks in advance.

I have a requirement based on translation here I am using a bootstrap connector were I need to know, whether I am able to translate static image which has text in it.If so can you provide me solution. 

I am using the below code to fetch info from workitem MetaDataMap inputMap = workItem.getMetaDataMap();String[] customList = (String[]) inputMap.get("customList");The "customList" is a textfield defined as multifield -<customList jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:resourceType="granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/multifield" <field jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:resourceType="granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/textfield" name="customList"/></customList>this throws a class cast exception when only value is configured in the multifield.java.lang.ClassCastException: class java.lang.String cannot be cast to class [Ljava.lang.Stringthis is because of the (String[]) casting. what will be the best way to correct it for both String and String[]? 

So for example when we are translating content fragments and experience fragments, the path of the resources should be like/content/experience-fragments/my-site/en/header/master/content/experience-fragments/my-site/en/footer/master/content/experience-fragments/my-site/es/header/master/content/experience-fragments/my-site/es/footer/master/content/dam/my-site/en/content-fragments/profiles/tom/master/content/dam/my-site/es/<to>/<fragment> If I already use master for translations, why would I ever use variations? Because variations is not for translations?

Hello!Could you tell me if there are any scripts or AEM tools which can generate entire DAM folder structure into an Excel/CSV?

HiWe've found a problem with siteadmin fulltext search. For the first page paging is completely ignored as 44 Mb with 7000 results are downloaded although only 15 results are needed. It took approximately 3 minutes. An investigation revealed that if the "orderby" parameter from the post-request is removed the search downloads only 15 results and does it much faster of course.The question is why the "orderby" parameter makes CQ return 7000 results instead of 15 needed for the first page?Thanks

Working in AEMaaCS and need to hide the Projects, Sites and Experience Fragments options on the AEM Start page (aem/start.html) shown below: In the non-cloud AEM experience you can hide these types of things easily through ACLs by creating a deny for the paths  /libs/wcm/core/content/sites and /libs/cq/core/content/nav/sites to hide Sites, for example. Can this also be done on the Cloud through ACLs or does it require code changes? I get an error as an Administrator when trying to set an ACL on the paths listed above. Edited to add: On this same project we will also need to hide some of the items under the Tools (hammer) menu. We would like one user group to only see Tools > General and Tools > Assets, with the other options hidden. Then under Tools > General we only want them to see the Tagging tile and nothing else. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Adobe community I'm trying to create a lucene oak index for commerce and in one of the existing indexes there was one seed property. I've checked the jackrabbit docs but didn't found anything about it. Does anyone have any information about this property, use case of it and when to use it?

Hi everyone,   I have some issues with my Adobe Experience Manager (6.3).Currently, I have the default template:     My aim is to freely customize my template (make 3 columns or more, center an image) and link it to Adobe Campaign but I do not know the language to use.   With this default template, Adobe Campaign can recognize the page:   But when I try to modify it, either Adobe Campaign do not find it anymore or I lose the access to the component.   If I create a page in Adobe Experience Manager, it will be created a page under "content" in CRXDE Lite with all the default component (teaser, redirect, par, parLeft, parRight, footer). So I guess that if I want to make more column by default, I have to check in the CRXDE Lite. I tried to analyze the relationship between the properties within the component (sling:ressourceType) but I only understand that the par component is linked to the parsys component in "mcm/campaign/components/parsys" and create auto

Hi Team, On a plain vanilla instance, we are trying create a component using bootstrap. AEM 6.5.18But the component is not taking the full width of the screen. Its not taking the 12 columns. When the same is loaded as a standalone HTML it takes the full width of the screen. Any hints to use Bootstrap in AEM? Thanks.Best Regards,Simbu

Hi folks,I have Content Fragments configured via the Configuration "global"Wrench -> General -> Configuration Browser I have some content fragment models created via the Content Fragment Models button. They are enabled.In the URL bar, I see the location of these models is.<IP address>/libs/dam/cfm/models/console/content/models.html/conf/global/settings/dam/cfm/models My user group has jcr:all permissions for this location. I have an Assets directory called "ContentFragments".I have edited its Properties, CloudServices tab,  "Cloud Configuration" property to /conf/globalIf I try creating Content Fragments in here though, I am not offered any Content Fragment models to choose. The only place I can create a Content Fragment is directly in Assets -> Files and the only Model I'm offered is a Simple Fragment which is deprecated.(I didn't create this model.) Any ideas?thanksFiona  

Why is the asset.getRenditions() function in AEM only returning Static / Original renditions and not Dynamic renditions, even though I can confirm the presence of Dynamic renditions for the asset in the AEM Asset manager? Code Snap: private static void getDynamicRenditions(Asset asset) {    List<Rendition> renditions = asset.getRenditions();    for (Rendition rendition : renditions) {      String renditionPath = rendition.getPath();      String renditionName = rendition.getName();    }  } Asset Renditions: We are only getting Static Renditions and original rendition but not Dynamic Rendition.
