We are on AEM-React SPA. We are implementing 404 error handling using Apache error directive. Here is the approach- When I make a request to non-existent page, publisher sends the default error page with 404 status to the Dispatcher for every Not Found resource, Dispatcher handover the error(404) processing to WebServer(Apache). The WebServer checks if the error page is in the cache, if not available then requests the custom error page from the publisher based on the ErrorDocument configurations and returns the error response to the users with the required 404 error code. Issue DescriptionWhen a xyz page is not found, then apache internally makes the request to 404-error-page.html(based on error directive), and I see a request for xyz.model.json and en.model.json in the network tab, but I don’t see the request for 404-error-page.model.json (because html redirect is made internally by Apache). Hi guys, I have a situation where there needs to be multiple components stacked on top of each other in a given grid layout.  The design follows by having a full width banner image in the background, having some text on the left (RTE component) and a form on the right with its own surrounding container (can be custom or extending core components).  I was thinking to use a column control component to have these components on the left and on the right but how can the banner background be achieved? Column control layout containers will limit the components width that will be authored.  Should I be creating a custom component that hosts column control by default (having cq include refered to the component path) and render the banner component next to it? Would be happy to know what's the best and efficient way to achieve this.

Hi Team, If there is any redirect given to a page using page properties, it is working fine as expected.For the same page, if there are any selectors, the redirect is not working as expected.   Steps to reproduce the issue. Go to we-retail page,http://localhost:4504/editor.html/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men.html and in advance tab of page properties for redirect property update with another page i.e., /content/we-retail/language-masters/en/women Now view the page as published, we can see the page is being redirected to women page as expected http://localhost:4504/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men.html?wcmmode=disabled  Now add some selector to the men page and see the redirection is not working http://localhost:4504/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men.selector.html?wcmmode=disabled  In our scenario, for pages selectors get appended in the URL after login and redirects are failing due to this issue.Can someone provide any so

On the publish instance the sitemap will be served from sitemap scheduler instead of from on demand?

Hello All, There is a requirement to add custom sort order date option in Core List v3 component as below. Also we want this core List component should be restricted to fetch only Article and Article category templates. I know I need to extend core list component but I am unsure the way how to implement this. Do I need to re-write logic of core List component(java code) to fetch only article/article-category pages based on which kind of list we want like Fixed list or Child page or Tags and on top of that sort it by different option like custom sort oder or title or list modified? In this case I need to re-write all logic of core List interface. Is there any other way to achieve this?

Hi all, I've been working on this issue for a few days now. Honestly just going for a 'sounding-board' type method here to see if anyone's comments spur an idea. I have inherited a project with the idea of redesigning and upgrading as time goes on. Everything is going fairly swell except for German text rendering. In my local machine I can edit components that have been created with RTE's in their dialog that are sling:resourceSuperType from the Text v2 Core Component and successfully save and render German umaluts (ä ö ü...).  When installing the code to a Stage environment, these same components render the umlauts as ?'s. Now, I checked the JCR nodes and they do in fact still save the authored content with the correct umlauts. There appears to be something happening between retrieving from the JCR and rendering on the page. Keep in mind that the Stage environment is a pretty bare environment. I would have thought it to be exactly identical to my local AEM environm

Hi ,I have a requirement to move production assets to dev environment. Because some pages were directly added to the prod environment. How can we do that. At present our dev and prod are out of sync, with prod environment far ahead of dev. What can we do to sync dev env with prod?

We upgraded AEM SP to 6.5.17 from 6.5.12. We had uber-jar at 6.5.3.6 and now we are upgrading that to 6.5.13.
