Adobe Experience Manager Sites

We are trying to use the _dynamicUrl feature of GraphQL when using an "ImageRef" in our GraphQL query, but we are getting errors when trying to do so. "Validation error of type FieldUndefined: Field '_dynamicUrl' in type 'ImageRef' is undefined @ 'awardList/items/logo/_dynamicUrl'" We have tried this in the local development environment, a hosted environment with the latest version deployed, as well as a Sandbox environment with the latest version deployed.  None of them are able to use this field to return the _dynamicUrl for the image. The documentation we followed is here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/headless/graphql-api/content-fragments.html?lang=en#web-optimized-image-delivery-in-graphql-queries There does not seem to be any additional setup steps to enable this functionality. Is anyone able to provide help to get this working? Thank you!

I am unable to see Graphql tab while creating the model after installing SP17. Expected as below But what I am seeing is below are there any other dependencies for GraphQL in SP17 like any additional packages do we need to install? We need this Graphql tab for setting up API name, query field multiple, query field values. @kautuk_sahni @lukasz-m 

Hi Team,I am facing issue while luanching AEM, initially i was starting my local AEM by double clicking the jar file but it didn't started. Then i followed command line process and first unpack the jar file. It unpacked successfully and crx-quickstart folder created. Then went to bin folder and clicked start.bat file.The command is running since 1 hr but it didn't launched the AEM tillAlso when i thought o look for error log then it was not showing any entry for today.Not sure what mistake i am doing. Can anyone pls help here. 

Hi, I am new to content fragment and facing a problem on AEM cloud trial version. I am trying to create a content fragment modal on cloud but when I am trying to author it I cannot see content fragment in start screen. Please find the screenshot below.  

I am trying to understand Delegation patterns better when we extend the core components Sling model.I am following the example provided here https://github.com/adobe/aem-core-wcm-components/wiki/Delegation-Pattern-for-Sling-Models  to extend the Teaser component. Basically, I want all the properties defined in the Teaser component and add a few more. Whatever new properties I am adding to the custom sling model, I can access those, and they return the correct values. But the properties defined in the core component Teaser model return no value. Upon debugging, I noticed that values are being populated correctly in the private teaser property, so I thought of returning the whole Teaser object through the getter as shown in the below code snippet. I have a requirement to1. populate the drop down values in dialog box. 2. Value are coming from other component "A" authored in different page "PageA" What i have implemented  1. Add a pathbrowser to get the page path of "PageA" 2. Save the dialog.  3. Reopen the dialog, the value in dropdown is populated.  4. drop-down is using the data source, which is calling a servlet.  5. Servlet is reading the page property pathbrowser and giving the dropdown values.  Challenge  1. author need to save the dialog box for servlet to read the "PageA" path and reauthor/reopen the dialog.  Is there any alternative to explore, where author dont have to re-open/reauthor the dialog to have values in dialog box.   

I'm trying to execute curl command to upload a package in higher environments in AEMaaCS by passing Basic Auth.List of common AEM cURL commands | Adobe Experience CloudBut it throws an error :   503client read error   I'm passing user credentials as Basic Authentication. No issue related to permissions.Note: It works when I try in localhost. Please help!

Hi Team, Trying to execute the sling sitemap schedular but its not working, I am on SP14. Through logs could see after specific interval schedular executes and prints internal query to traverse nodes but at end sitemap is not generated.Get this.Cannot serve request to /content/abc/en/index.sitemap.xml in org.apache.sling.sitemap.impl.SitemapServlet All on demand configuration works fine. Another observation on one server with SP16, sitemap.xml is not written under var/sitemaps folder though schedular configuration works fine. Anyone recently facing these issues, do update and any next steps.

I am aware of the option "Create Language Copy" while adding pages to the translation project - https://github.com/AdobeDocs/experience-manager-65.en/blob/main/help/sites-administering/tc-manage.md#performing-initial-translations-and-updating-existing-translations  Though I am not very sure of the "Overwrite Language Master" option. Could someone please help me out to understand what is it about? and when can we use it? I didn't find any documentation explaining when and how to use this feature. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I am trying to insert an OOTB Text component onto my page, and it can't be loaded correctly. Hello, recently i have been trying to solve some problems with my AEM instance i dont know what is causing the problem. Me and my team received this file which i run with the comand java -jar, the crx-quickstart and the instance starts. The problem is that i can properly edit the projects becase the page looks aas following   I read that you need to install a certain version of java and apach maven to creato proejct so currently:  I have also set these variables but noting changed  Am i missing something? Maybe im missing some installation or the java version is incorrect.

Hi All,Since our migration from on-prem to cloud aem we've been finding missmatches in the publish status of several pages.In the author the page will show as unpublished but will be active in the published instance. I would like to somehow grab a report of all the pages in a particular path in the publisher and compare it to a report i've run in the author but so far I have not been able to find a way to grab a report of the pages sitting in the publisher.. Does anyone know a way I can generate such a report? I can of course view the publisher version of the pages in the developer console but have not been able to get a report that I can use to help bring our environment back into sync.Kindest Regards,

Hi Team, We are trying to create a Language copy for a site that's in the English Language. When a Spanish copy is created it isn't translating Custom Components and I have seen documentation to configure translation rules for each of the custom components and choose the properties that we would like to get translated in the `Translation Configuration` module. Since we have bunch of custom components, I was thinking if there's a way that we could define at a single place once and it's all taken care of when authors create any number of pages. Looking for suggestions as to how it can be a one-time task on all custom components so authors don't have to worry about creating translation configuration while adding a new custom component each time. Hi i installed de WKND project in my computer and whenever i try to create or edit a page of this template, there is nothig there to change, no new components to add into the page. I installed de WKND, following these steps: //For AEM as a Cloud Service SDK:$ cd aem-guides-wknd/$ mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackage and the AEM appeared correctly. Hi, Under urls mapping in resource resolver factory, I am trying to put a rule with complete domain name e.g. /content/abc/us/en\.html < https://abc.com/ but this rule is getting skipped and have no effect. On further analysis, it seems colon (:) after the https is the culprit. If I remove it from the rule then this rule works as expected. I tried to escape colon by putting single backslash (e.g. \:) as well as double backslash (\\:) but no luck. Does anyone know how to escape such characters in the resource resolver factory? thanksNeeraj

We are trying to customize the email template that triggers on workflow notifications, there are few issues that we have observed:The default email template that triggers on workflow notification is at - /libs/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt. When we try to overlay it in apps - /apps/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt - it only triggers the overlay'd email template when we restart the com.day.cq.cq-mailer bundle. I have created a dialog box wherein I've this image field with ability for drag and drop. Now can someone help me what exactly to write in HTL to render it in page.
