Hi AEM Community,   I'm working on an AEM Forms implementation and need some guidance on the best approach for the following use case:   Requirements: The form is embedded in an iFrame on an external website The parent page URL contains a token parameter that needs to be captured This token must be used to make a backend API call to retrieve user data The API response should prefill specific form fields (name and email) Flow: Parent URL (with token) → iFrame loads AEM Form → Capture token → Backend API call → Prefill form fields My Questions: What's the recommended approach for this scenario in AEM Forms? Custom Prefill Service vs Client-side implementation? How to properly capture URL parameters from parent window when in iFrame? Should I create a custom servlet/OSGi service to proxy the external API call, or can this be handled differently? Are there any OOTB features in AEM Forms that would simplify this implementation? Has anyone implemented a similar pattern?

Hi,When moving pages in AEM as a Cloud Service, admin users can move without any workflow, but other users (with full permissions) trigger the "Request to Complete Move Operation" workflow, which fails with:java.lang.NullPointerExceptionPermissions provided: read, write, modify, delete, replicate.Why does the workflow trigger only for non-admins, and what could cause this NPE?How can we prevent the workflow from triggering for fully privileged users?Thanks!

Trying to compile a app build on AEM 6.3 created with old archetype template. Initially it showing error for <groupId>com.day.jcr.vault</groupId><artifactId>content-package-maven-plugin</artifactId> since the version was 0.5.1 so I updated it to 1.0.4 but now it show error on <packaging> tag of application module pom on below section. <artifactId>myapp.apps</artifactId><packaging>content-package</packaging><name>myapp - Apps</name><description>apps package for myapp</description> When I hover over the  <packaging> tag below description in VSCode IDE.<packaging>The type of artifact this project produces, for example jar war ear pom. Hi everyone,I’m facing an issue with one of our Content Fragment Models in AEM where a few text fields were intentionally disabled using disabled=true and renderReadOnly=false at the field node level under /conf/<project>/settings/dam/cfm/models/<model-name>/jcr:content/model/cq:dialog/content/items/textfield. In the old Content Fragment Editor (Granite UI), these fields appear correctly disabled and are not editable, but after moving to the new Content Fragment Editor (which is React-based and built on Adobe React Spectrum), the same fields appear editable and authors are able to modify them. It seems the new editor doesn’t respect the traditional disabled or renderReadOnly properties that used to work in the old UI. Could someone please guide me on how to make these fields appear disabled or read-only in the new React Spectrum–based Content Fragment Editor? Any official documentation or best practice would be really helpful. Thanks,Abhishek A.

In my project, we are planning to upgrade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to Service Pack 6.5.23.0.Currently, we are using ACS AEM Commons version 4.5.0, and we are considering upgrading it to acs-aem-commons-all-6.15.0 as part of this activity.Could you please confirm if ACS Commons 6.15.0 is fully compatible with AEM 6.5.23.0?Also, if there are any known issues or recommended versions for this service pack.kindly share the details or reference links.Thanks,Nagendra

Hi Everyone, We are currently encountering an issue with our AEM as a cloud setup. Our cloud instance is multi-tenant and includes five repositories. We have established Groups specific to our content paths, including an admin user group that has read, write, modify, delete, and replicate access to our content paths. The issue arises when any user who is part of this admin group attempts to move pages from one hierarchy to another. The move operation completes successfully, but it triggers a workflow called "Request to Complete Move Operation," which then accumulates in the workflow instances. However, when I, as the environment admin, perform the same move operation, the workflow mentioned above does not trigger. Could you please advise on how to ensure that the workflow does not trigger when users with all permissions (write, read, delete, modify, and replicate) perform the move operation? Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Hi There, We have a requirement where several custom dropdown fields have been added to the metadata schema of our assets (DITA files). During the translation process, AEM currently picks up the dropdown key value (the stored value) instead of the display label. This key is then sent for translation and applied to the translated language copy. As a result, the translated copy fails to load the corresponding dropdown option correctly in its properties. Additionally, all dropdown labels and options remain in English after translation. We would like to explore whether there is an OOTB approach in AEM to automatically localize or translate these dropdown labels across language copies. Thanks,Ravi Joshi

Hello Everyone, I am trying to integrate the Adobe Cloud Manager APIs with external Pipeline Platform. The idea is that I have some restrictions and governance I need to do this externally and from there instruct the Adobe CI/CD to manage the pipeline like starting it, stoping, and so on. One of my requirements is that I need to define the pipeline as normal and then use this pipeline with different branches. Let's say we have a non-production pipeline with type CodeQuality. Developer A needs to run the pipeline from hist feature branch X and Developer B needs as well to run in-parallel the pipeline from feature branch Y. How can I achieve this dynamically using the Cloud Manager APIs?. I thought that I can do a PATCH for the pipeline to change the branch as needed but then I realized that this will not be right solution due to race conditions between parallel pipelines. I would like to hear from you more. Thanks.

I have almost clear whole dam via script and tested. Sites are working fine. all dam folders and assets added by users are deleted. and then run 1. java -jar oak-run-1.8.4.jar checkpoints crx-quickstart/repository/segmentstore2.  java -jar oak-run-1.8.4.jar checkpoints crx-quickstart/repository/segmentstore rm-unreferenced3.   java -jar -Dsun.arch.data.model=32 oak-run-1.8.4.jar compact crx-quickstart/repository/segmentstoreafter compact however it freed the size of 35GB. but my aem total size was around 865GB. and I was expecting to reduce more used size. however I haven't deleted the sites which were using these assets. The dam size was quite big in 700+GB.Can someone guide me how to clear the size of application?Server used is Rhel 9.

Hey folks, I have an absurd issue on my custom ui testing build - The logs are building out the URL https://publish-p111111-e1492222.adobeaemcloud.net/hello/test/hi?nocache=trueThe actual URL should be adobeaemcloud.com and not .netI have set the URL in environment variable and in my cypress.config.js but yet the above one gets logged. The above URL gives Apache standard response It works and thereby fails my custom tests.cy:request ✔ [object Object]Status: 200Response body: <html><body><h1>It works!</h1></body></html>cy:command ✔ STEP HTTP Status: 200  Anyone knows why that is? Thanks,Nagesh
