We're seeing an issue with a few of our templates where if the page properties are edited (within Touch UI "Properties") after initial page creation, the jcr:title field property type will be changed from String to String[], the jcr:title field will then contain 2 identical jcr:title values (we see this in /crx/de). Whatever was there initially is repeated into a second value. This then breaks the "Manage Publication" dialog within the Touch UI. The article for which one tries to "Manage Publication" cannot be selected in the dialog or added for publishing or unpublishing, it shows as a checkbox but no article is displayed in the listing, and when attempting to add the same article (via the button to add items within the "Manage Publication" dialog), it reports it cannot be added because it's already there, though it doesn't show up. Changing jcr:title from String[] back to String by removing the property and re-adding it (in /crx/de) fixes the issue until the article's page

Hi,When we rebuild our client libs it is failing at 2 libraries 1) /apps/acs-commons/clientlibs/main.css...error: java.lang.StackOverflowError2) /apps/acs-commons/clientlibs/main.min.css...error: java.lang.StackOverflowError  any help? we are in acs-aem-commons-all-6.4.0.zip version. and we just migrated to 6.5.21

Hi, I am on 6.5 onsite. In the past couple of months I created a few new tags and added them to tens if not hundreds of assets. Today I noticed that when I select those tags in the asset search by Tags filter, the search brings no results. If I enter the tags in the search field in " ", then the search result brings those assets. There are 1000+ assets that should show up.I tested a few different tags I created recently and added to the assets - non of them work through this method.  Why is the Tag filter search not working? What needs to be done to fix this?    Thanks

Is Adobe DAM supports Live Video Streaming ? If yes, please share pointers on it.

I started off as a web developer so if I were to start in my AEM journey again, AEM Helix would be an easier transistion. But, that's not the case. I had to learn all the other tech stack that comes with AEM (Java, OSGI, JCR and etc). I'm not really sure why would someone want to use Helix if conventional AEM is already used at the company. (or perhaps vice-versa. Why would someone move to conventional AEM if they are already using Helix?) Thoughts? thank you! EDIT1: How integrated are other frontend technologies like react with AEM Helix?

Any idea, I know that opensagres is an external API which works with POI. If POI is compatible then why this one is not? Thanks.

Means inserting the two experience fragment templates into two distinct page templates. That is, in a page template you can only insert one experience fragmen, not both.

Hi  i have a custom workflow in place… where i am getting the content approved and after approval, i have custom process step - CustomActivationProcess implements workflowprocess …. some logic…then i am replicating the payload right away.. but now i want to schedule this replication… from this payload/jcr:content i am getting ontime property.. and i want to schedule replication at this ontime… Another class i have written is scheduler class which will schedule replication for any given pagepath… Now actual pagepath is in process class… can i call scheduler from there ? How or is there any better way to acheive this …but i have to use ontime property only to get scheduled replication time.

I'm having trouble with YouTube embeds messing up the thumbnails (see below).Is there any way to fix this without changing the aspect ratio of the thumbnail on YouTube? Why does it need to be 4:3?

Hi, I want to redirect my domain traffic to appbuilder project. Hey Team, I have a use case related to ACLs:I overlaid /libs/cq/core/content/tools to create a custom tool under the Tools section of the AEM console. Now, I want to hide it for all users except one specific user group. How can I achieve this? I tried using the rep:policy node, where I denied access for the everyone group and allowed it for the group I created, but it's not working. Can anyone please help me here? Thanks

Hi, I am on 6.5 onsite version. I am looking for a way I could search for assets inside a parent folder that has subfolders in it. The challenge is for the search to exclude the results from subfolders.For example: Folder A has folders A1 and A2. Current search filter allows me to set search in Folder A, and it includes results from folders A1 and A2 because they are within Folder A. Task - tell the search not to include the results from folders A1 and A2, and only show results folder A.  Please note - I am not a dev and do not have access to the code. If such a filter does not exist without a code tweak, just say so to save your and my time 🙂 Many thanks

Redirection from one module to another module is working in publish environment but if we check in domains it's asking for login everytime in each domain but is not happening in publish instance.

Hi team i already have project specific content approval workflow where i am taking approval from approvers and after their approval, activation of pages happens ( like on selection of 1 lang master page, i am replicating all of its live copies) now the requirement is after the approval process, activation shud happen on scheduled date.i want to use on/off time (OOTB available in page properties) to select the scheduled activation date and expiry date. So, parallely i need to disable past dates from OOTB on and off time date picker. how can i achieve this after approval process of workflow, the activation of pages to happen on their respective “on” time of page properties.

 Assuming I have the following context:1. Project is inherited, the solution is pretty rigid, and we lack project know-how2. Stakeholders pressure is pretty high, so a time-delivery balance has to be found, which usually means no-too-much-time-for-best-practices 🙂2. Infrastructure architecture is composed standalone AEM instances, 1 author instance and 8 to 10 publish instances3. I cannot (for now) figure out how to configure project to deploy bundle dependencies upon build (nor there is time to untangle the project configs and find a solution)4. I am trying to create a package from my production environment, which I can install on my local environment. I am using AEMaaCS and the CRXDE Package Manager to generate the package. 1. Is there a way for the package manager to automatically pick all "related" dam assets? For instance, I am selecting the Homepage of my site as the root. I want the system to find only the DAM assets which are actively being referenced by pages. 2. I am noticing that I am getting dozens of renditions in my package. Is it generally safe to skip renditions when generating packages? What are the reprecussions? Basically: I am trying to get a "minimal" package to be used in local sandboxes. I am noticing that my packages are pushing an upwards of 500MB however, and that's after explicitly excluding many paths and patterns. I suspect there may be many assets being packaged which are not actively used on the site, but are actively published in the DAM. I want to skip these if at all possible and

I have a crawler to run JCR-SQL2 queries on author instance using AEM scheduler. Sometimes I would get WARN logs from AEM and the logs look something like this: *WARN*| [sling-default-4]| org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.search.spi.query.FulltextIndex$FulltextPathCursor| Index-Traversed 20000 nodes with filter Filter... Sometimes the node counts from the logs would go from 10,000 to 40,000. Is this something I need to be worried about? What's the maximum threshold on the node number?    

Da Adobe nun den Download von Fireworks gänzlich nicht mehr anbietet (jedenfalls nicht unterm Mac OS Catalina) habe ich ein Problem.Ich benötige einen alternativen Weg zu dem Fireworks Filter der sich unter Filter > „Andere“ > „In Alphakanal konvertieren“ hat finden lassen. Dieser bewirkte, dass ein Bitmap in eine schwarze (und transparente) Ebene umgewandelt wurde.So konnte ich jegliches auf weiß abgelichtete Produkt mit echtem Schatten in Handumdrehen in ein transparentesPNG umwandeln (ohne multiplizieren! oder anderen im Web nicht funktionierenden Modi). Der Schatten war komplett verlustfrei und funktionierte auf absolut jedem Hintergrund (war aber nur schwarz). Mein vorgehen bisher:1. Produkt (mit Bodenschatten) in Photoshop öffnen.2. I’m facing an issue where a servlet configured as a resource type  works perfectly fine in the DEV publish environment, but it doesn’t work as expected in the Stage publish environment. The servlet is registered correctly, and I’ve confirmed it’s being picked up in DEV, but in Stage, it seems to fail silently—no errors in the logs that I can pinpoint yet.I'm using AEM as a Cloud Service.ui.content\src\main\content\jcr_root\content\tap\servlets\search\.content.xml core\src\main\java\com\flytap\core\servlets\SearchTapServlet.javadispatcher\src\conf.dispatcher.d\filters\filters.anyhttps://publish-stage-env.adobeaemcloud.com/content/tap/servlets/search/jcr:content.json?text=bagagem&lang=pt&page=1&hitsPerPage=10&filter=all  When I execute this call in the browser I get a 404.Do I need to do any more configurations?
