missing menu after customizing siteadmin columns

Hi,

I followed the following link to add a new column http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/customize_siteadmin.html

While a new column was successfully added the problem is that the menu (new, activate, delete) above the columns is now missing.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,I would like to follow up that I made a mistake and the menu does indeed show. However what I would like to know is how to only override my custom grid and refer back to the parent for such things as grid/assets, actions and tags. I would like to follow best practice of composition instead of maintaining another copy.Chris
