MSRP configuration with AEM tool

Im trying to confiugre MSRP with AEM.

1.Installed mongodb in local 

2.tools->communites->storage configuration->select MSRP-> submit

My question is when i do the above whether the only UGC content alone is stored in mongodb or the whole storage location for the tool will change?

When i studied the documents there are two types of using mongodb they mentioned.

Only content for communities will be stored via MSRP. Comments etc

To clarify, only content entered in the publish environment by 'community members' (signed in site visitors) is considered to be 'user generated content' (UGC).
