Dear @jangra98

Here are documentation about oak indexing, which describe purpose, best practices, how and where to create them.

1. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/deploying/deploying/queries-and-indexing.html#configuring-aem-with-a-single-remote-solr-server

2. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/deploying/practices/best-practices-for-queries-and-indexing.html?lang=en

3. https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/ensure-oak-index/index.html#:~:text=The%20Oak%20repository%20used%20by,invisible%20to%20the%20AEM%20tooling).

Hope that helps you!

I had a chance to write about Indexing 2 years back.

You can check this - https://myaemlearnings.blogspot.com/2020/06/apache-tika-config-in-lucene-index-and.html

Last section has all the links related to Indexing from my blog post.
