Parent page activation

Hi

If we activate parent page, will the child pages also be activated? If not how can we achieve this?

Could you please list all the possiblities

If you are using default replication.You can use Activate Tree feature, from where you can activate complete tree with filters

If you publish just the page - then child pages are not replicated because the a higher level page is. It does not make sense to do so either. Some sites are really big with hundreds of sub pages. If you change an image on a top level page - why would you want to replicate all the lower level pages where there have been no changes.

There is an option to include child pages however -- Publishing Pages
