Re-inherit the component does not update it automatically

Hi All,

We recently upgraded to AEM 6.3. After upgrade, we noticed that reverting inheritance does not automatically trigger the rollout. I have gone through the AEM documentation but it talks about inheritance at page level not at component level.

Does anybody know what will happen to component inheritance if the page level live copy is not suspended and author cancel and re-inherit the component.

    I recall that this has been changed, although I don't know the reasons anymore.

    Not that I am aware of. You might ask the Adobe support for a official statement on this.
