Hi

Restoring Asset also result in restoring Meta-data and renditions as mentioned by Lokesh.

When you create a version for a asset then AEM puts the entire asset under version control, including renditions, metadata, and sub-assets.

Documentation link:- https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/author/assets/managing-assets-touch-ui/versioning-assets.html (Read Creating a new version of an assets, point 2).

Thanks and Regards

It should restore the meta data and renditions. We can quickly try and see what happens.

but what do you mean by sub-assets ??
