Routing https behind WebFirewall as http to AEM

Hello

For simplicity, we want to use only http behind the WebApplicationFirewall towards the dispatcher and publisher. So incoming http and https will be http. Ist there a standard way to tell AEM what the protocol is to ensure the links are generated properly?

Does AEM (and Forms) honor  the Header "X-Forwarded-Proto"  or do we have to route https in parallel to the Backend?

Matthias

Weird, the helping Answer from ??? disapeared, here it is again:

AEM (and Forms) honor  the Header "X-Forwarded-Proto" . Make sure it is configured at /system/console/configMgr/org.apache.felix.http.sslfilter.SslFilter
