Hi,

What is the significance of the query param (path of the page) which is passed along with the call to load stores.init.js during client context init ?

Generally it is to not to  cache the file. In case of client context should be improved and the client context components should be re-factored not render dynamic data like page path.This is being tracked internally at CQ5-18139.  If you are having performance issue please engage through official support channel.
