Unable to add color picker RTE plug-in to a Rich text component field on AEM 6.5 (with SP12)

Hello,

 We are having an issue adding the color picker plugin to a text field in our video component.

 We followed the instructions mentioned in http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2018/05/aem-64-touch-ui-rte-rich-text-editor-color-picker-plugin.html

But we were unable to see the color picker on the component dialog.

Could you please suggestion if there's anything wrong with the above approach for 6.5? or is there any other way to add the color picker in an RTE field?
