Version of AEM of existing website

Hi,

Is it possible to do view source of a website and understand if  AEM was used and which version of AEM?

As stated by others, there is no such way to find this.

But Workaround is

Check it with:- http://builtwith.com/

While technically it is not possible to find out if AEM is rendering a page, there are strong indications that AEM was involved. Regarding the version ... that's really unlikely.

that is not possible. AEM renders HTML and you cannot look at the HTML to determine if AEM is involved.

Not really. We can just make guess based on the references made in HTML comments and file name/path of the src files etc..
