view existing content in xxx websites

Hi,

We are migrating xxx website.

Would there be an option for future xxx editors to view existing AEM content so they can review it + review the translations?
They are currently requesting Read only access but maybe there is another way to 'extract' existing content? or view it on a 'preview link'?

Can you tell us how can we extract existing content and also is preview link is sufficient

Yes, there are multiple ways to allow future xxx editors to view existing content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and review translations.

Here are some options:

  1. Provide read-only access: You can create a read-only user/group in AEM and provide access to the necessary content using the Access Control List (ACL) feature. This will allow the future xxx editors to view the content but not make any changes to it.

  2. Use the Translation Console: The Translation Console in AEM allows you to export content for translation and import translations back into AEM. You can export the content in a format that can be reviewed by the future xxx editors. Once the translations are available, the future xxx editors can use the Translation Console to import them back into AEM.

Hi @vani1012 ,

Where is the content currently in? Are you migrating from non-AEM system to AEM? Do you want the authors to preview the content before migration or after? Confirm these to assist you better.

For preview, if you can't provide Read access to the content to the users, you can setup a preview instance, publish the content to it and share the publish links for review. But, it is going to be a maintenance overhead, and not suggested.

@vani1012  Can you please explain the usercase properly. But for review the content "Preview" should be suffient. But it all depends on the usecase
