Looking for best practices to maintain analytics tags in AEM. We have hunderds of pages and wanted to add tracking for all the links included in site, also wanted to maintain analytics tags remain same across all the components. So what is the best approach to achieve this.

It would be best if you used Tag Managers, e.g., Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch Tag Management, to enable different tags(e.g., analytics) to AEM pages.

Hi @sonur1 ,

I am assuming you are talking about analytics implementation within AEM

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/implementation/prepare/data-layer.html?lang=en

If you are already using core components they come by default with data-layer support, which will make it uniform and less effort on your side.

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-core-components/using/developing/data-layer/overview.html?lang=en

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Nitesh
