Adobe Experience Platform

It's probably something really obvious that I've missed, but if you use the Adobe Analytics extension in Launch to enable automatic link and download tracking, is there a way of adding additional variables?   It's great being able to automatically track all this stuff, but not much use if you can't segment it down to particular pages / sections of the site.   Thanks!

Hi community,  Is there any way to get all propety rule components in a single file. As you know, Data Collection loads a new file for every rule componenent. What I want is, instead of loading separate files for each component, get a bundled file containing all code snippets for that property. Thank you!

Hello All,   We have a situation, where the datatype of one of the schema attribute changed from string to array of string. The schema is not enabled for profile. We made the changes. But I see that the ingestion is still failing because of type mismatch. It's still seeing the schema attribute type to be string.Will I have to recreate the dataflow from scratch? I am not sure of the issue because we don't specify the attribute's datatype in the data mapping.   Thanks in advance.   Regards Abhishek

We're looking to upgrade Acronym's Google Global Site Tag extension as the version we're using (1.0.1) does not support GA4.   Are there any risks associated with upgrading from 1.0.1 to the latest version of 1.1.5?   Judging by the release notes (https://docs.acronym.com/analytics/adobe-launch/gtag/release-notes) there doesn't seem to be much risk, but we're hesitant with upgrading extensions since there doesn't seem to be a way to revert in case of an issue.   Thanks!

After the video version has been updated, when I try to use Brightcove extension it is not working.   On the page https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/tags/extensions/client/brightcove/overview.html?lang=en, the In-Page Embed code HTML snippet are all leading to 404 errors.   Can anyone help on the technical document to set the tracking in place.

For the Media Analytics 3.x extension, there's an option to toggle on `Export APIs to Window object`. The documentation isn't clear on the purpose of this configuration. Can someone please help explain when this should be enabled?

I have AEP web SDK implemented on web page and Adobe Analytics is added as a service in Datastreams. The rule for page load is added in Tags. When the web page is loaded, the launch JS is loaded and then there is collect call with XDM object but it is showing status 204. The data is not recorded in AA for this call.  What can be the reason for calls not going to AA? and why 204 status code?

I want to leverage Launch as the place where I can make all the Adobe Analytics configurations and be able to track pages and clicks without needing to use Rules in the Launch UI to trigger a page or click call. Essentially I want to use Launch in replacement of needing to implement the Appmeasurement file, but also to be able to track pages/clicks using the methods from Appmeasurement. Is this doable with Launch?

I want to build several segmentation services and I have some questions about processing duration and time point. For batch segment, according to the document, the batch segment will be activated every 24 hours. Is that possible to activate the segment to destination in a rapid frequency, such as every per 3 hours? Also, how to determine the timepoint that downstream will receive the segment? Is there any other ways to activate the segment faster? How long does it for one row of event data from being ingested by webSDK/API to being activated to downstream in streaming segment?  If the actual destination is required for discussion, we can talk based on google Ads.

In our sandbox environment I am testing AJO journeys using test profiles created by uploading CSV files with user profile attributes. In the schema used for this, there are fields marked as identities for email address, phone number, loyaltyID, and ECID - all with the correct namespaces. All test profiles are also marked as testProfile = true.      During the data ingestion process I mapped the CSV fields to the appropriate schema fields and created a new dataset. When validating the attributes of the profile that I uploaded using Profiles->Browse I see that all identity fields were automatically assigned to an identityMap namespace except ECID. I attempted to delete and recreate the dataset and the same behavior was observed.   Is the non auto-mapping of ECID a known functionality or is there some step in the process I have missed?  

As a retail group operating across several brand divisions and in both online and in-store environments, one of the big things we are looking to achieve with AEP is connecting the online and offline experiences with the ability for cross channel attribution and single customer view across retail brands. We would be looking to feed into AEP very similar data from various websites as well as different ERP systems and data warehouses. In that light, I am trying to figure out whether it would be better practice to set up a separate schemas for each source which could be brought together with unified profile (e.g. separate customer & transactions schemas for each source) OR set up one schema where some fields overlap between sources while others are source specific (e.g. email is populated into same field by all sources while ERP-ID is specific field per source | transaction total is one field populated by all, while invoice-ID is source specific.) Your advice is much apprecia

Hi Team,   I have lot of rules which are configured in Adobe Launch which has lot of JavaScript custom codes written, some of them are throwing errors in console, where they haven't used try catch method also. For analytics we have three different Adobe app IDs: one for development, one for staging, and one for production. In the test version of our tvOS app we have added a way to switch between which app ID is being used. Whenever a tester switches the ID this code is called: var extensions = [Media.self, Identity.self, Lifecycle.self, Analytics.self, Signal.self] MobileCore.registerExtensions(extensions, { MobileCore.configureWith(appId: adobeApplicationID) }) However after switching to a new app ID the analytics are still being sent to the previous environment, until the app is killed and restarted.  Is there a way to make the switch so it is effective immediately, without having to restart the app?

We want to implement a Google Tag Manager Container in our websites where we are using Adobe Launch as a default to trigger Facebook Tags. Need a mechanism for Adobe Launch to connect to Programmatic Ad Pixels and Search Ads Conversion Tracking.  Specially need an implementation approach using Adobe Launch to fire Google's DV360 Floodlight pixels, or connect to Google Search Ads.     We have tried to install the GTM container through Rules, and it seems to turnoff the adobe launch tags (Facebook) and others. If there is any way to implement GTM container into website through Adobe Launch without disturbing the traffic of other existing tags, would be of much help.  Thanks in advance!  

Hi everyone.   My team is testing XDM as a way of retrieving data in one of our applications, and it is the first time we try this. We have already set the schema, datastream, configured the Adobe SDK extension and are just missing to create a Dataset. I found out that I do not have this option in my profile, but together with the PM we cannot find the option to grant access to this feature. Could you please guide us through the process?
