Adobe Experience Platform

Currently, I am having an issue that is not capturing activity on the debugger. I might need to set up a custom variable on Launch. Any idea how to set up props and eVars on Launch so that I can track all my page activity? 

Experience Cloud ID Service (ECID) allows for the "sameSiteCookie" configuration.If I use Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Media Optimizer and Adobe Campaign, and ECID is the method used to assign visitor IDs, then what should my "sameSiteCookie" configuration be? Strict, Lax or None?

Hi guys 🙂 Probably an easy one (hopefully) but I was checking the documentation around access data content via API on https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/data-access/tutorials/dataset-data.html?lang=en#access-the-contents-of-a-file Basically I wanted to be able to send an API call to AEP that allows me to see the content of a streaming batch (identified by a batch ID). However the documentation seems to require a file ID which I don't think I have (since it is a streaming ingestion). More specifically, there is a streaming batch that contains 20 ingested records. There is no error whatsoever. It is a successful ingestion.The API response I am hoping to get should return me what these 20 records look like. Any idea how to achieve this or if you could point me to the right direction that'd be really appreciated. Thank youGigi

Hi community, unlike e.g. Adobe Analytics there is no automatic data retention service available within the AEP. Therefore, I tried to identify according ingestion ids in order to delete data manually after a certain time period. This is quite easy for “normal” batch ingestions: Identify batch IDsGET https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/catalog/batches?limit=100&properties=createdDelete in datasetsPOST https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/import/batches/{BATCH_ID}?action=REVERTDelete in RTCDPPOST https://platform.adobe.io/data/core/ups/system/jobs I tried to do that also with streaming data (via Web SDK). Hi Team,Is there any way to get all profiles of a segment without using export segment job in AEP. Or Is there any way to export all segment profiles into one dataset? @dbenge      

I'm currently trying to conduct a small data stitching POC on CJA by combining three data sets with "Email" as Person ID: #1 Client-side event data captured via the AEP Web SDK deployed via Adobe Tags (Primary Identity: ECID / Email pushed in some hits)#2 Manually uploaded event data from Callcenter (Primary Identity: Email)#3 Manually uploaded profile data from CRM (Primary Identity: Email) However, it seems that the data connection to CJA fails as it skips the majority of records for #1 by highlighting the error "Missing timestamp":But when looking into the data set itself via the preview, I can clearly see that the auto-generated timestamp is being generated via Adobe Tags:Did anybody else experience the same issue before? Interestingly enough, it does only skip the records for non-identified events, while a form submission with email being present in the hit is being processed. Is that because the Person ID is being set to Email? Nevertheless

Hi, Has anyone successfully managed to setup their Oracle Responsys SFTP as a data source in AEP? I've managed to create a connection that works, but when on the "Select Data" screen, the folder structure that appears seems very foreign, and I can't seem to navigate through to the right directory where my extracts would be sitting. Any one who can provide some guidance would be greatly appreciated. CheersTaz.

Team, Looking forward to the solution to block "visitor_info_live" and "YSC" cookies through OneTrust. I'm able to block and unblock analytics/performance cookies via onetrust. But not these two cookies. These cookies are coming from "youtube extension for adobe launch."

Hi Team,   Is there a way by which we can restrict the Adobe Experience Cloud (AA, AT, AEP etc. ) Access within the company IP Range. So if a user try to access the Adobe Experience Cloud products outside corporate network they cant access it.   Please note - I know this can be achieved for Adobe campaign classic and AEP but my query is for the cloud based adobe products.   Please let me know how to achieve this?   With Regards, Amit Raghuwanshi

Hi, We have a pretty neat data layer implementation but are running into issues where the data layer is being cleared/replaced too quickly in Launch's asynchronous environment (due to events firing too quickly after another). We are wanting to implement some sort of "wait for track" logic into our data layer queue so that it isn't cleared/replaced until the previous beacon has fired. We would love to have this work based on promises rather than a static time delay, and I'm pretty sure that "AA - Set Variables" returns a promise and I'm assuming that "AA - Send Beacon" does as well, just not sure how to access it?  It would be preferably to access it externally, but internally would work as well. Hope this makes sense.

Hi all,    i'm going through the documentation to create a custom connection for aep segments (our destination is a DSP tool).  I'd like to know if there are more details on this part (this is an attribute to pass while configuring the connection):  Integration alias: This value is sent to the Experience Platform Web SDK as a JSON object name. How can we provide this information? is this data that allow us to send the segment to external services?    I don't know if someone would like to share an experience 🙂 Thanks a lot

Hi,We're currently working with a new device which supports cookies but it does not persist them, so when user leaves web/app and relaunch it 30 minutes later, previous cookies have been already deleted.In this particular case (non persistent cookies):- does it make sense to use marketing cloud visitor id (mid?) or it would be better to use visitorID (vid)?- is it possible to override MID? I could save that value in localStorage the first time the app/webb is launched and reuse it next time

Within https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-platform/edge/data-collection/adobe-analytics/manually-mapping-variables.html it just states that the XDM is flattened and made available to Adobe Analytics via processing rules however I am seeing various parts of the schema not being pulled in - things like the version number (xdm.implementationDetails.version). Can anyone advise exactly what data is available to Adobe Analytics or do I need to do something further to get all data made available?

I am loading purchase events from Azure ADLS location. The events are coming as JSON. I am loading the events into the Purchase table of class XDM ExperienceEvent. MDM Id is the primary if in my profile schema and PurchaseId is primary identity in Purchase with MDM Id as the secondary identity. Purchase Date is mapped with the timestamp field of the experience event and PurchaseId with the _id table and additional custom column which is primary id Both the schemas and data set associated with it has the are enabled for profile.  I was expecting the purchase events to show up in the profile details page under "Events" tab, but it didn't. I believe I read somewhere that the events are shown up to certain duration (i don't recall what that duration was), so I was expecting those recent purchase events to show up at least. Hi, due to GDPR we have to differentiate between users who gives consent and users who gives no consent. If we have the user's consent we are allowed to set the cookie expiration to 2 years. If we have not the consent we are only allowed to set the cookie expiration to 30 minutes. Is it possible to update the cookie expiration for all Adobe cookies after I got the user's consent decision? At the moment I can only decide to set the expiration to 30 minutes or 2 years but I cannot change the settings afterwards. But I would like to expand the expiration when I have the user's consent. Otherwise we loose some data.  I really hope you have an idea how to do this! Thank you, Sophie 

Hi There,  Hoping you all can help since I'm stumped. What is the order of operations on an inbound .overwrite data file? For example, say we are planning to send a file with the following two rows.59767559181262060060278870901087098252 “gender”=”female”59767559181262060060278870901087098252 “gender”=”male" Since it appears twice in the same file, would the ID 59767559181262060060278870901087098252 technically qualify for both traits (male and female), or since its a .overwrite - its possible that this profile would only maintain 'gender'='male' since that is the last row? Trying to understand if AAM 1) reads the first ID, 2) wipes any existing data, 3) adds the trait = female to the profile, and then repeats the same process for row two, effectively deleting the first row of data. Or if AAM deletes exisiting data at the file level, not the row level, thereby allowing us to keep both segments. Thanks in advance for your help on this!&nbsp

Hi, Can someone guide on how can a a dynamic file name can be configured in AEP SFTP connector. I would like to schedule a source connector to pick the file daily with date timestamp from the SFTYP location to ingest the data. Secondly I would also like to send the alert once the data is completely loaded for triggering the journey in AJO. Thanks in advance.
