Hey!here am I with another beginner question..On the home page of our site, we have a field where the user adds their zip code and the API automatically finds our partner that works in the area. There is no submit button, etc.. Talking with the consulting company that implemented Adobe for us, I was told that we can collect the zipcodes that were added in the field using data layer push. However, they didn't leave any documentation about it or specify how to do so. Since I don't have any experience with the data layer, I'm kind of lost. Is there documentation that I can read more about this? How would the data layer be for that case?Additionally, after inserting the zip code, the price of some products automatically appears according to our partner´s price and the user can select quantities of each and move on to the next page. Is there also a way to collect the zip code added, what products were selected, and quantities once they click the next button? I infer this can also be do

Hi, Anyone can advise the proper way for the implementation of Google ads conversion tag in adobe launch? Things I have set:gtag > fire in all page (can fire)conversion tag > Put the event snippet html code in Action Configuration > Custom Code (Action Type) > HTML on firing condition of button click on css selector (published) but not firing. Saw that gtag is firing but:Google Tag Assistant appeared this error message after click on the conversion button: Invalid call to gtag(), the Global site snippet is not installed Many thanks!

Hi all, I have a property having around 40 environments created for Development. Also, the property has around 10 libraries with environments attached and published in Development stage.But, when I try to create a new Library, I get no Environments to select, the input for selecting is empty.The thing is, I need to publish changes for a site that is currently using an Adobe Launch file URL that matches one of the non-used development environments. So I created this new Library for publishing the changes, but as I said before, I'm not able to attach environment. Thank you,  

Hi,  Anyone using AEP Edge Network server API. As per my understanding, this will help us to send the data to multiple systems(AEP, AA, AT, AAM etc) in an easy way. But, AEP edge network server api will not replace Adobe Target Server Side SDK/Adobe Target Delivery API as this is designed to deliver the experience. Is my understanding correct? Thanks,MA

Hi Team,    Need clarity on Network Server API. Documentation saying "The Edge Network Server API can be used for a variety of data collection, personalization, advertising and marketing use cases. The Server API can be used on servers, IoT devices, set-top boxes, and a variety of other devices."  personalization: How we can utilize Edge Network Server API Server API to personalize ? Is it possible to do Target call execution as well? If yes How? if not why description mentioned as personalization?  Please help me to understand this API. Thank You  

Looking for any examples or lessons people have ingesting data directly into AEP from AEM sites or web apps using Web SDK specifically using encryption on the page and ensuring the data is correctly decrypted once it lands in AEP.

Can someone please guide me on how I can add events to the XDM in Web SDK? So far we have added props and evars, but haven't figured out how to add events like addToBag or productClick.  

Hello Team, Need your expert opinion on skipping records while loading data using batch processing. Consider a scenario - a CSV file has millions of demographic records containing name, email, address etc. We need to load the CSV file into a specific dataset in AEP using AWS S3 source connector. The requirement is if the email address is "none@none.com" then, we should not load that record, else we can load the record. There is no ETL tool is present which could filter out those records. In this situation can we skip these faulty records?  Any recommendation on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks,Bitun  

We have a scenario where a custom event would be triggered. Now I want to fire a tag when the custom event is triggered. What I did is: Created a new rule.In events section I used Custom Event from the dropdown.filled Custom Event Type with email_submit(This is the custom event triggered via $(window).trigger('email_submit')).In then section I am triggering one of the extensions(DoubleClick Floodlight).Note: if the use page top event then everything works fine but not with custom event. Please let me know If I am doing something wrong.

Team - Looking for the best pratice what you follow while adding new data point on the existing schema. Lets say, we have a existing schema and dataset where the data have been flowing into the datalake as excpected. There are scenario where we need to add couple of data points into the schema and eventually we also need to ingest those data points in to the AEP datalake through dataset. So would like to know what approach you follow to ingest the new data point that have been added newly in to the schema.1. Create a new data and ingest the addtional data point along with primary identifier - This is the approach we follow currently and it works fine as expected.2. Ingesting the data point on the existing dataset with primary identifier - Data got ingested successfully and I could see the profile count as well for the couple of data points under the segment. However, we couldn't see the data on the query service and that make us to think that technically it has some issue on ingesting

If source has hash Email address , can we bring it to original form in case we have hash  key in data flow data prep. I can see a lot of option to convert into hash value.

If I created an Audience in the People Core Audience library using an Analytics Dimension, how long is the "lookback" period or profile lifetime (to use Target terminology)? That is, if Dimension X came to be associated with Visitor Y, how long would Visitor Y be placed in the Real-Time Audiences built using Dimension X? Thanks.

Hi I was given access to a sandbox environment and I was trying to ingest data from sources but it seems like I don't have access to most of the sources and whenever I click on set up for sources I get this error message which I assume means I'm not given access? So I'm wondering what are the steps that I should take to gain access to the sources for data ingestion. Thank you. 

Has anyone been able to get this to work?  I have code that is firing an event and a rule set up with a CustomEvent trigger listening to it.  I have tired all sorts of different combinations with no luck.  I wrote a listener by hand and it is getting invoked, so I know the event is being fired.I could never get this to work the way I thought it should in DTM, either, so maybe Adobe and I have different ideas on how to handle events...Anyone have an example or some tips?

Hi community! I have worked for a while doing page tag and link click/interaction tag QA using Omnibug, which is helpful for making sure the right v55, v29, etc. values are firing prior to site deployments. However, our company recently switch to the WebSDK which seems to make Omnibug unusable for these types of QA tasks.Our tech team seemed to indicate that this was an expected result but that we should be able to use the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger to perform similar QA tasks.
