One of the first questions is whether Visitor identification will be impacted. In this article, we will explain how the migration to the AEP Web SDK works and how to plan. While the different libraries required by Adobe Analytics, Target and Audience Manager are being replaced by a single SDK, the Experience Cloud ID (ECID) remains as the way to identify your visitors. The VisitorAPI.js is no more longer required when you are using the AEP Web SDK. If you are using Adobe Launch, you will simply remove the ECID Extension and check the box for the ECID migration in your AEP Web SDK Extension. One pre-requisite for this simple migration is that your implementation is fully on the ECID. Hello, Hope someone can assist with this query. We are using the LinkedIn Extension in Launch to fire LinkedIn tag.We now have a requirement to fire another LinkedIn Tag (due to different LinkedIn pid). Since it seems we can only use the extension once, we tried to fire the second LinkedIn tag as a custom code. But only the tag utilising the extension seem to be working. The custom tag isn't firing at all.Wondering if anyone else has come across this use case or is there a way to fire 2 tags using the same extension? cheers,Winston  

Hello everyone, I am migrating SDK 4 to AEP SDK and implement places and places monitor in the new AEP SDK. Our aim is to keep sending latitude longitude information from AEP SDK. . Assuming that we will not change Processing Rules in Analytics side, how can I send latitude longitude from AEP to Analytics? Is it enough to pass latitude longitude information via Context Data and map these information in the processing rules without any implementation in Adobe Launch Mobile Property?Thanks

Hello all! I have a specific rule in my implementation with a "max frequency" type of condition (once per session). It works well, but I need to do some custom code in case the conditions are not met (event triggered but not fired because of this condition). I've thought about doing a "counter rule" (that means with the reversed condition - always fire except for the first time in session), but I  was wondering if there was another way to do it, a more practical way if I need to do this in other rules as well (without having to duplicate them all), like a callback (something in the sorts of s.registerPostTrackCallback like _satellite.ruleConditionNotMetCallback) or a fallback (if(condition) => actions, else => fallback) Any solutions, suggestions, ideas?

Hello,Hoping for some assistance.We are in the process of migrating to Web SDK & AEP instance from current Adobe implementation.Creating page load rules seems quite straight forward using Web SDK.Where we are stuck is on how to configure all the direct call rules to leverage Web SDK. For example, if we have a direct call rule, that sets events and eVars for Analytics. How do we do the same with Web SDK?

Hi All,We are trying to do a direct integration of ECID as mentioned in below guide.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/implementation/direct-integration-examples.html?lang=en As per the sample using below API call to DCS i can get MCID by passing OrgID. https://dpm.demdex.net/id?d_orgid=5555&d_ver=2 But this ECId is first time ECID i mean already we have a ECID(MID) as part of Site A(This site as VistorAPI.js implemented via Launch ECID extensions) visit by customer now Customer is visiting Site B(This site does not have Launch ECID integration) we want to get the same ECID which the customer got when he visited Site A. As per my understanding inorder to get same ECID i need to pass OrgID along with Demdex ID in thrid party cookie to get same ECID for Site B explicitly. Now i dont see a way of passing demdex id in the above DCS API call. How can i pass ORGID+DEMDEX ID via direct DCS call and get same ECID(MID) Please help.. Regards,Raj

Anyone gotten the Launch AA Product String Builder to work without their Data Layer management tool??  I just tested it on Adobe's AEM we.retail demo site and either it won't recognize a direct object reference (like typing digitalData.cart.products instead of using a data element) or if I use a data element throws a runtime error. launch-54a7599c3ecf-development.min.js:3 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: this.settings.productCollectionPath.replace is not a function at n.getProductCollectionPath (launch-54a7599c3ecf-development.min.js:3) at n.setProductBase (launch-54a7599c3ecf-development.min.js:3) at n.buildProductMapping (launch-54a7599c3ecf-development.min.js:3) at launch-54a7599c3ecf-development.min.js:3 Sometimes it will recognize the data layer; when it does - the error above is thrown.

Can I use data element in Report Suite field of Adobe Analytics extension to pass list of Report suites coming from backend or suggest any other option for this requirement.  

Everytime I try to login to Adobe Launch, it throws session timeout error. Can someone please guide or help in this case? Attached the screenshot.

How can I change the data in Adobe Analytics? ie. my "utm-content" is "pinkposter?vid=1231245", the ?vid=xxxxxx is not what I want, how can I clear them but still keep the "pinkposter"
