We're doing testing having migrated from DTM to Launch.  Most things look right but there's something odd going on with the Facebook pixel. The tag is added via a rule, and then various events are triggered via additional rules based on either page load, or on button clicks.In Launch, it looks like the page load events are getting triggered on every page load, even if the rules aren't firing. These are all the rules: When the page loads, the debugging output says that the rules aren't firing (except in this instance, when order confirm fires): But the FB helper chrome extension is showing all the events firing one every page load.  Admittedly most of them have the yellow error, and it looks like the right one is showing green on the right page: ... but previously (in DTM) only the relevant page event was showing in this window. If I disable the rule in Launch then the event disappears from this list.  So it does look like the code is getting

I'm trying to see if it is possible to dynamically set the host names in the Launch libraries? I need to do this because we need to host the Launch code on our web servers. The issue is that Launch is implemented in such a way that I don't see how this is possible? In DTM it was only modifying the main satellite-lib file. Does anyone have any advice or success doing something like this in Launch?

Is it possible to 'audit' where a data element (or for that matter an analytics evar/prop/event) is actually in use within a rule? For example, we are changing our User authentication system, and I want to quickly flag or list all of the rules that will need to be updated/tested to ensure they continue to pass user properties from the new system on our analytics events. However I can't find a way to work backwards from the data element to get a list of all the rules it is present on.  Do I have to open each rule, then open up each analytics 'set variables' container and check for each data element I need to flag for, or is there an easier way?  

Hi We recently migrated DTM to Launch out of 122 rule arround 100 rules are migrated but some of the rules which had some custom code and data element validation are not firing. those rules are still working in Prod site with DTM but not working in dev environment

I am working on implementing trigger views through launch. I have setup date elements for page info such as pathname, URL, title.   For some reason when I use these elements for my trigger view I get %pathname% or %url%. The only one that works is title. That populates the value.    Why would my URL based data elements not be populating but my page title would be?

Hi everyone!We've migrated from DTM to Launch.We have some legacy page view events in our custom code that fire both the hit and visit based variant of the event when a customer visits a specific page:  if (pageName == "section|subsection1|subsection2|title") { s.events = s.events ? s.events += ',' + 'event1,event2' : 'event1,event2'; }  The hit based variant of the event tracked against the page views metric in Analytics exactly when deploying with DTM, but since migrating to Launch the event metric exceeds the page views metric by about 50%. After firing the event I'm using the 'Clear Variables' action to reset the event string and when debugging I can't see multiple instances of the same event.Does Launch process or send events differently? Is there something I need to tweak in the configuration?

Hello 🙂  We use _satellite.track to track pageviews in the Single Page Application while the Adobe script loads asyncronously. As expected, sometimes we get error message: _satellite is not defined. It means that the _satellite.track had been fired before the script finished loading. What is the best way to solve this issue technically? Is there any method recommended by Adobe?  Thank you in advance.Galyna   

I put the floodlight tag (iframe) in DTM and would like to see if it is fired in the correct place. What is the next step?Thanks!

Hello, My client uses Google Campaign Manager for an end advertiser and has floodlights set up in the client's tag management system to track. Our pixels are placed in the GCM floodlights. The end client recently switched to Launch, and the GCM floodlights seem to be working fine, but our pixels within them seem to be broken. Our daily loads on our pixels have dropped significantly from 100's of thousands per day to a little over a thousand. I think something in the waterfall of Launch-GCM-our DSP pixels is not playing nicely. The end client dev team is completely stumped. Would you be able to advise? Thank you!

Hello,  I'm trying to migrate my GA setup from GTM to Launch. To ensure a smooth migration, I decided to set GA via Launch on a test GA property first. So I have both Launch and GTM set up on my website. Each of them is currently running a GA setup. The setups are functionally identical but reporting data to two different GA properties. I noticed that the Launch-powered GA property is consistently reporting fewer pageviews than the GTM-powered GA property. Even if I narrow down the comparison to one single page, and compare day by day, via Launch I get on average 1.5% fewer pageviews than via GTM. I know that these figures cannot perfectly coincide because network requests sometimes fail. However, it seems to me that the 1.5% gap is a bit too big. What is even more alarming is that it's always Launch reporting smaller figures. So the reason seems to be in Launch, and not in some random network issues.    Do you have any idea as to why this may be happ

Greetings fellow Launchers. Seeking guidance around the following. I've got a property that includes periods. For some reason, when inserting the following into the Javascript Variable Name, Adobe isn't picking it up: dataLayer.adobeLaunch["test.workflow.name"]. However, when creating a data element and leveraging some simple code to capture this property and apply to a new variable, I'm able to build a comparison rule (condition) that recognizes that value being passed in dataLayer.adobeLaunch["test.workflow.name"]. Do I need to use a different notation or does Launch simply not recognize this sort of syntax? Thanks!

Hi I think this post is related to Analytics & Launch Let's say the following HTML code : <meta name='mymeta' content='myvalue' /> We try to have a report/workspace in Analytics with only pages where mymeta is not empty. For the workspace it's ok but how can I store/log somewhere that a page has this meta ? Data element + rules ??
