Hello, I would like to know if Adobe has any limit on the length of product string in Adobe Launch. I try to implement product impression in Adobe Launch, and notice that if there are too many products (s.products is more than 100KB) the rule fires but no beacon was sent.  

Hi thereI'm very new to all this and have just started a new role within my company where I'll be working with Adobe Analytics. I've installed the Debugger Plugin (the new version) and logged into my account no problem. But it cannot seem to find... anything. All the modules simply say "Not Found". I've tried closing and reopening the browser, rebooting my computer and I've tried Firefox and Chrome on Mac and Chrome on Windows 10 (on the same computer in a virtual machine and on a separate Windows PC). I've disabled all other extensions, closed every other tab, still nothing. I even tried disabling Firefox's privacy protection features. On the Mac browsers, I see "Not Connected. Reload the tab or navigate to a new page to connect". On the Windows browsers, it sometimes shows as connected, but other times as not connected. And sometimes, a few of the modules will work, but not other ones, then reloading the page will show none of them working. It's very erratic. Is there something

Our dev group have found benefits in using the `postMessage` event as a great way to do pub/sub type communication. We'd love to use it in Launch, but don't see a way to make it work outside of Custom Code.  Is Custom Code the only way to do it? It would be great to have an Event Type where we could select `postMessage` and then be asked for a string for it to look for inside of a data, so `siteEventName` in the example below. I've got a direct call rule in Launch that sets analytics variables and makes an s.tl() call.  According to the debugger the rule fires, and I see the image request in the AECD but not in Charles Proxy.  The data never shows up in Adobe Analytics.  And to make matters worse the failure is happening intermittently.  Probably 60% of the time the call is made successfully and the data ends up in the report suite.  I don't recall seeing this issue before I updated to the latest Adobe Analytics extension in Launch, but of course it might be completely unrelated.  Has anyone else seen anything like this? Thanks!

I have set Referrer in my page rule.How can i verify the values in  adobe page calls or track calls?Not able to see any parameter with name "referrer" in adobe calls through adobe analytics debugger.

I have a rule that is bound to the mouse click event. In the conditions section I want to be able to use this event in my custom code before I execute any actions.  Adobe Analytics extension has this event object in the Set Variables action. But I need to use the same object before I reach this action. Is there a way to pass the event object into the condition that is configured as a custom code? (I don't want to use global event object since it is not present in the old versions of some browsers.)

First of all Adobe Launch documentation is very bad. I am transitioning from Tealium to Adobe Launch and some of the details are not properly documented. When I search things in Google there are confusing terms DTM, Satellite and Launch. It is not very apparent which is the latest information. I need to add pageName to Ajax pop-ups, and not sure how to do that. In one of the documents, it mentions to add below code, but I am not sure if this is a recent code. I am looking for equivalent to Tealium utag.view I am also not sure what "directtest" do here?   _satellite.track('directtest', {name: 'pageName', Description:'Testing Parameter'} ); thanks

Vimeo offer the option to track performance of videos embedded on websites into Google Analytics. I have the instructions for setting up with Google Tag Manager but struggling to convert this to work in Adobe Launch. Has anyone come across this before or made sense of the below? Global Variables is available in adobe page calls but not available in adobe track calls?I have set all the global eVars and props in my adobe extention -> global variables sections.any fix for this ?

Hi all,I've tried using the Time and Scroll Event extension in Launch but every time I create a rule the library won't build. Even when leaving the rule at default values with no actions and with actions the library won't build. Has anyone come across this problem too? Should I use the getPercentageViewed plugin instead? Thanks

I have a feeling this has been asked before but I have not been able to find it in the community archives or documentation.I have a situation where we are upgrading to Launch across tens of websites but several of them do not currently have development teams assigned to perform the necessary changes. As such, we have to wait for dev assignment which is not a speedy process. Meanwhile, our operations team is ready to upgrade to Launch.  This mismatch in timing has put a bind on resources and resource management.An idea was put forward to use DTM to load Launch as a stop gap to be used only until dev can add the Launch script to the desired websites.  By doing so, the teams performing the upgrade to launch and those that are dependent on the launch upgrade do not hit a standstill. I realize that Adobe does not support two DTM libraries or two Launch libraries, but is there a supported capability for using DTM to load Launch?  Would the risk of conflict be the same as

Hi all, I have questions regarding the execution of _satellite.track calls in conjunction with 's.useBeacon = true' in Adobe Launch. Could someone please validate my assumptions for Adobe Launch? Scenario 1: I trigger a _satelitte.track('xxx') via an onbeforeunload listener. The associated rule has a custom code action block where I interacting directly with the s object via s.tl(..). 's.useBeacon' is set to true.  Assumption: It's not given that tracking call is executed successfully, because custom code is not embedded within the main library and loaded asynchronously as a sperate file. This leads to a race condition, even with 's.useBeacon = true'. Scenario 2:  Same as above, with the difference that I use the Adobe Analytics extensions and a setVar + sendBeacon actions instead of custom code. Assumption: It's given that tracking call is executed successfully because _satelitte.track is executed synchronously with

Hi guys, i want to load a script with dynamic values based on domain, so i have set up a data element with the different values based on document.locationHostname, it seems to work as expected and the value changes based on site domain.running into some issues when trying to load the string in the HTML custom code of rule. so this is the string, it will fail at the getVar portion of the string:<script src='https://sripturl/rc/'+(_satellite.getVar('account_string')+'/scripts/s.js' type='text/javascript'></script>   so what im after is a string that looks like this (given the data element value is 12345):<script src='https://sripturl/rc/12345/scripts/s.js' type='text/javascript'></script>   i guess theres some single double quotation issues here, or maybe its not possible to do? Any pointers appreciated!

Hello, I need to remove a domain added to a property in adobe launch and replace it with a new one.  I just wanted to double check, does this take effect in the published library immediately, or do I need to build a new library and re-publish?  There are no other changes to the property, only to it's config and when I build a new library there are no changes at the Property level available to select (only the usual rules, extensions etc).

Hi,  I'm trigger an event type(click) to capture the navigator search filter types for the search query terms. I want to capture the filter type values . Like "By Date" "By Category" etc. Here my problem, Results appear immediately when user select/click the filter type but URL loads after few secs so the data element where not able to fetch the value where passing in the URL i.e., &bydate, &bycategory values. It's taking sometime and gives no value.  And here again if user clicks another filter type for the same search journey, its storing the value of previous filter type. how can we configure this RULE? I'm trying to trigger the rule after few secs via custom code(for all filter types) in the event type because of this issue and ignoring the type as CLICK. Custom code is the only way for this issue. Is there any option under the event type? I can see there is an option like "time on page"(logically m not sure) but its an "OR" operator. I'm

Hi All,  I am trying to set a DCR as a custom link and am capturing some information as a part of that and we have used async deployment. what i notice is that the DCR is firing before the library is loaded hence the i am not getting a server call for that particular custom link. Is there a way i can set up a rule in between for the DCR to wait for library to load and then send the beacon?
