Adobe Experience Platform

We have a mobile app coming out and the company did not get mobile services, only mobile analytics. However, we're doing a container wrap with the ecommerce part of the site and I'm seeing that mobile services UI supports Chrome, firefox, safari, and edge. Does this mean that without mobile services, we can't track actions in the container that aren't mobile native?

Hi everyone,We have a web application that integrates with Google Analytics but not with Adobe Analytics.Actions taken within the application go into the events section of GA. There are 10 different event types.I was wondering if there was a way to use DTM to 'catch' these GA events and send them into Adobe Analytics as either an event or eVar.Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,I am able to create a new integration for accessing Launch API using JWT-based access token.But, the main issue is that, the JWT gets expired often and hence, I have to again copy-paste the Private Key to obtain new JWT to existing integration. So, how to fix this issue as I am automating the creation of property, etc using Launch API, but if JWT gets expired and throws error " It is incorrectly formatted and can't be decoded", then how can we build seamless automation experience?

I have stumbled across what appears to be a bug withing the Launch generated installation code for Mobile Applications. Parts of the copy/paste install code within the environments tab cannot be copied. I am using the Chrome browser to view Launch.Steps to reproduce:Create a Mobile Application Launch propertyInstall a couple of extensionsView the environments tabView the install code for any environment.Android (Gradle) & iOS (Cocoa pods - Objective C & Swift) sections of code cannot be fully copied.When trying to inspect the text that can't be copied with the Chrome developer tools and looking at their HTML <span> , and then copying that text - curly braces will then disappear entirely from the code box and require a page reload before they appear again.The following first image shows code that I have highlighted to copy and also shows pieces of the code that cannot be selected. This code will also not be copied when clicking the copy icon to the right of the code box. I

While Launch allows for the publication of libraries continuously, some of us must adhere to strict release windowsIn our scheme, only one person has the ability to publish to production and that can only be done during particular hours on a particular day (every two weeks)My question is, how can I not be blocked from development while QA and UAT are in progress?For example. When I complete my dev work within the sprint and submit to Staging (where QA/UAT happens), I want to create a new library in Development to start on my next round of workHowever, if the library is rejected and sent back to Development, only ONE library can exist within that environment

Hey guys, for websites we have the awesome ability to set up a data element in Launch and call _satellite.getVar to get the value of that data element, as described on Launch object reference​. We are using this with constant data elements from the core extension to provide some config values to our websites (as described here). Awesome! Now we would like to do the same thing with our apps. Is there any equivalent way of getting the value of a constant data element configured in Launch via the SDK in apps? This would be a killer use case for us and safe us a lot of headache with our agencies. Best,Frederik

Hi allWe do have a launch setup which includes different properties e.g. a property for the corporate page, a property for some calculators which drives conversions. Is it possible that eVars persist through different properties? Example:I persist a searchterm on property 1 and the conversion is made in property 2. Is it possible to do a analysis which searchterm drives the most conversion events? We do have a ONESUITE in AA, where it all comes together, but I assume as soon as the property changes, the s object is lost? Thanks in advance

We upgraded automatically from Adobe DTM to Adobe Launch, and we have a rule which has a THEN action (action type is Set Variables) that only runs a bunch of our custom code (at the bottom of the action configuration page you click </> Open Editor to edit our custom code which controls our events' handling. Is it possible with the Launch API to update this custom code on the rule action? I can't really tell from the API docs if it's possible or not - Adobe Experience Platform Launch . The custom code is fairly lengthy, at 957 lines of code, which is a lot to send over the API every time we update.

We are currently mainly using direct call rules for our tracking. Even the page view itself is a direct call rule, as we had the pageBottom fire when it shouldn't (SPA not finished initializing). All our rules follow the same pattern in the action section: 1-n Set Variables, Send Beacon, Clear Variables.One of these Set Variables actions is responsible to set s.products and s.events only on product detail pages, to track its view (prodView and a custom event). I now have the strange behaviour that these are not cleared at the end: The product detail page has multiple tabs which we only track minimalistic with the title of the tab, a custom event for tab click and some standard variables which are tracked in a doPlugin method. But the first tab I click also contains s.products and s.events values from the page view rule fired before. The second and any other on page rule are fine and do not contain them, as if the Clear Variables from the tab click rule worked and the one from the page

Hi all, I'm in the process of migrating all of our DTM properties to Launch, however have encountered a slight issue.We have 2 Experience Cloud Orgs for historical reasons, and 1 DTM property is running under the legacy Org. I know it is possible to Update this DTM Property to a Launch Property within the legacy Org, however is there a way for me to migrate this Property between Experience Cloud Orgs via an automated process. Either before or after a Launch Update. I realise that I could probably leverage the Launch API's to achieve this (via exports and imports) however I thought it was worth exploring if any slightly more user friendly options exist.Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

The Launch API was first made available to customers about two years ago in the earliest alpha state.  At the time, true role-based permissions were not available through Adobe IO, and so in order to limit IO integrations (technical accounts) to certain permissions, we created roles that mapped to sets of permissions.  One of these roles was selected when you created your technical accounts.Fast forward a few years and Adobe IO is now integrated with the Admin Console.  This means that API users can be managed in the same way that flesh and blood users are managed - that is, API integrations can now be assigned to the same product profiles that regular users use.As of September 4, 2019 (see release notes), Integrations of both types are supported in Launch and the older role-based permissions are deprecated.  In February of 2020, the older role-based Integrations will be removed entirely.  Before that happens, someone from your Org will need to login to the IO Console and switch over t

Hi All,I created a mobile property in Adobe Launch and was wondering if there is any documentation on how the data elements and rules work for native mobile platforms. The only mobile documentation I could find was related to Adobe Mobile Services however my devs are using the Adobe launch scripts so I wanted to take full advantage of the launch platform and not have to use Adobe Mobile Services.
