I am speaking on behalf of my development team who would very much like the ability to push code from GitHub repo into launch.  A big concern for the team is around versioning control and when pixels stop working or code is broken, we don't have the ability to easily search DTM/Launch for code snippets.WIth the feature announced around Open API's, it seems as though this might be an option.  In addition to adding the code to GitHub, are there any plans to make a search feature within Launch where I could search for a snippet a code and return a list of rules/libraries where said code exists in Launch?  Far too many times, rules are named something too generic for users to quickly identify what javascript is firing.  Yes in a perfect world, developers would think and act like marketers, but when your org is large and you have a lot of teams accessing the tool, it can quickly and easily become messy.

Hi,How can we add Google AdWords remarketing pixel using DTM for some specific pages of the website. As a best practice, is it even fine to add a pixel using DTM or should we add the code using our CMS tools (Adobe AEM)?Thanks in advance!

We currently use DTM on most of our websites and need to implement it on another site. Unfortunately our developers won't be able to add the embed code for at least two months because of a code freeze.To get around this, we're thinking of using GTM. Any problem with doing this?The code will only be added to two pages: A "login page" and a "login success page". This will be used to exclude existing customers from our marketing reports. I mention this to make it clear that we don't need full implementation on this site.Regards,Ali

Hi,I recently started playing with Customer Attributes available in Profiles & Audiences of Marketing Cloud. Hello, I have an issue with DTM. There is an event based rule which is triggered if one of datalayer field equals needed value. This datalayer that is fired on the event has a lot fields that are not captured in this rule. But one param is included on every hit of this rule on this page. The strangest thing is that there is no such param inside this rule.More detailed: on one page there is a button click on which causes datalayer firing. This datalayer includes params A, B and C. Also there is a event based rule which is triggered if A param of datalayer equals "2". This rule includes eVar1 which gets it's value from field B of datalayer and this is the only variable there. How it can be that this  rule is fired with eVar1=B field of datalayer and eVar2=C field of datalayer?P.s. there are other rules which includes  eVar2=C field of datalayer, that's why eVar2 and not other eVar gets C value.Thanks in advance.

I'm running into an issue where some of my code in a third party script is running before the AppMeasurement library is loaded.  I'm trying to figure out what the best solution to solve this issue.  Here is the setup:- Adobe Analytics tool configured to load at page bottom- Global rule that is set to load on DOM ready. This rule has a non-sequential third party script that watches for custom JS events and fires custom link tracking- A page rule that loads on DOM ready that tracks the normal page load eventsThe problem I'm having is that the global rule seems to be firing the custom event before AppMeasurement has been loaded which causes a JS error to happen.  The JS error then interferes with other JS thats running.  I need the Adobe Analytics tracking to fire at the bottom of the page because we set some global JS data as the page loads.  I've tried switching to a sequential third-part script but then we run into a situation where the custom event watcher isn't set when it's being tr

First, as usual, sorry if this answer exists but I searched and couldn't quite find the answer for which I am looking. I'm trying to track an action on an input checkbox only once, that is if I have a list of checkboxes I want to only track if user clicked on it once, so even if they deselect a chackbox they've checked only the first click is tracked. I know there's a way to check if a checkbox has been clicked in JS via "querySelector().input" type call, but I'm lost as to how to bring that full circle to only have tracking event fire only once regardless of how many times the user toggles it. I've created a few segments in Adobe Analytics that I'd like to use with the Experience Cloud. I've shared the segment and it's showing in the Audience Library interface, but they are showing as "collecting data". What does that mean and when will I start to see numbers?

Hi all,I have been playing around with Adobe Launch for a while now and to me the approve an publish process seems to be very over engineered. It takes too long and currently I have to click way more often then it used to be in DTM. I understand that it follows more the deployment process but for all my use cases this is irrelevant. Besides that I couldn't figure out how to change resources in the existing library once it is published without creating a new one. All new libraries need a new name, so this can get quite messy after a while.That's why I now believe that I'm doing something wrong. Is there any best practice how to easily manage your libraries and also change the version of rules within an existing  library after it is already on the production environment.Any help is welcome Konstantin

Hello,Our app has a "call back" functionnality that allows users to receive a call from one of our call centers.We would like to measure the number of calls that are getting into our app users.I know that this is 'off line' data . Nevertheless I was wondering if I can also access the same information via Javascript over the s-object?Checking through the object I couldn't find anything, also there is no documentation so far. I want to build a Launch extension that can manipulate values on the Adobe Analytics tracker object ("s" by default).I see in the Feb 8 release notes that the updated Adobe Analytics extension (v1.1) provides access to the tracker object via shared modules.I see here that the function to call is turbine.getSharedModuleI see via inspection of the api calls on the extensions page that the AA extension name is "adobe-analytics".So, I'm left with a couple questions:1) How do I get the updated Adobe Analytics extension (v1.1)?   I only see 1.0.0 in the extension catalog and I don't see any way to update. 2) What is the string to use for the sharedModuleName parament in turbine.getSharedModule?  My best guess is below:var sObject = turbine.getSharedModule('adobe-analytics', 'tracker');Thanks in advance!-Stew

But somehow it is loading slow, should I keep the js for faster speed? Any help will be grateful. Thanks.

I am trying to set up Launch Header and Footer Script, I am unable to see any image request send to Adobe. I can see from console the libraries are loading properly, is this an Expected Behavior? I'm trying to track internal search terms entered in the search box by visitors on a web page. But the given search box is divided into 3 sub boxes with each search box having its own URL parameter. URL for a sample search appears as (www.example.com/search?k=analyst&c=alliedhealthsocialservices&l=Columbus,%20Ohio&t=regularparttime). How to track all the search terms entered in 3 search boxes? Do i need to create separate Data Elements for each individual search box? Can anyone tell me how do i processed further?

We have a dataLayer embedded within an Angular app that pushes an event and a data object into the dL when a user filters/edits their search.
