Hi Team,I am working on a POC in launch where I am calling different direct call rules in a for loop.Ex: rules.forEach(function(rule){     _satellite.track(rule);});I am interested to know how this execution will happen. Right now I tested it for 3 rules. I am observing that rules triggered message but the execution of the contents of rule is a bit delayed than the rule fired message.The reason for doing this experiment is having the ability to add all rules that should be non blocking as direct cal rules and start calling them at the end of the page. I think this will give the current DTM behaviour of third party scripts as async.Can you please let me know the steps in execution of direct call rules and how custom scripts that we added in direct call rule will execute?

Can we discuss when a piece of code will create its own js script versus when it will be combined within the Launch embed code?Here's a scenario we can use for this discussion:1. I enabled the Facebook extension2. I went to the Rules tab and opened my existing "All Pages - DOM Ready - Pixels" rule3. I scrolled down to the "Then" portion of the rule and clicked the + icon4. I selected the Facebook Pixel extension and the "Send Page View" action. I kept the default name of "Facebook Pixel - Send Page View" (see screen shot 1 below)5. I went through the process of getting the changes to Stage. Stage is test1.hmkb2c.com for me6. Looking at the Elements tab in Developers' Tools, I see that the FB pixel appears to be added to my Embed Code js (see screen shot 2 below)7. I expected that the FB pixel would have made another js file - just like the other 2 rules in the "All Pages - DOM Ready - Pixels" rule (see screen shot 3 below).I would just like to be educated on where to expect and look fo

In Launch, when I click "and having certain property values" an warning message is displayed (see screen shot below). This warning is not in DTM.Would you mind expanding on how big the performance impact is when a valued is provided here?Thanks -Sarah

HiI've some ajax pages on my site and I'm using direct call rule to track them. On some of the direct call rule I added some page / step specific events but these events are getting overridden by the event set ( which s.events="event4="+s_getLoadTime();) in the core appmeasurement.js. The specific events in the direct call rules get tracked if I remove s.events="event4="+s_getLoadTime(); from appmeasurment.js. Is there any workaround for this. or Is there a way to tell DTM to prioritize the events set in the direct call rule over the JS settings and override the JS events (s.events="event4="+s_getLoadTime();)?Thanks

Can we talk about why the design to show items that are ready for a build changed so much between Launch and DTM?In Launch, I feel like it is Easter and I am trying to find all my candy. And I definitely have that feeling that there is candy I am missing in my hunt...so many rabbit holes to look down...and nobody likes this feeling! The documentation states there is a page on the extension catalogs. Has that not been added yet?

I have 2 proprieties setup in my DTM and if I want a global report suite to have data from both properties, could I create a global report suite and add to both properties and add another report suite just for each property. If I setup like this way, will this global suite be different from the rollup suite? for example, will it be able to dedup  when it count the unique visitor?

Hi,I am using DTM and currently deploying the Adobe visitor id service. I am planning to parse the customer id very soon and would like to get some advise on the best practice and how to do it in DTM.Would you recommend using the JavaScript snippet or can i use the data elements (i.e. setting user id, customer id, authstate for that particular customer)?It is also mentioned on the help website that the customer IDs and authentication states need to be parsed on every page. My issue is that once the user logs out i will loose that customer id from the dataLayer. The idea is to get to know the customer even though s/he is logged out and use it as an audience for test and target at a later stage. Would it be recommended that i persist the customer id via a cookie?As a side note, i do also see puuid. Is that really needed?Thank you Jerome

I've heard of people using s.abort in DTM. What does it do?

I'm creating an Event Based Rule in DTM and need help understanding each of the different event types.

A little background to explain how I got to the scenario below --> I wanted to see what each extensions looked like in the embed code. So, I disabled all my extensions and then enabled them one by one to see how the extension portion of the embed code changed. 1) I enabled the Target extension.2) I made a build of only the Target extension to my development environment3) I then submitted it for Approval (for stage)4) I made a build of only the Target extension to the stage environment5) I then submitted it for Approval (for production) Then6) I enabled the MCID extension.7) I made a build of only the MCID extension to my development environemnt(For a visual of steps 1 - 6, please see screen shot 1 below)8) I then submitted it for Approval (for stage) 9) But, I am given a message that I can't build to stage because I have something waiting for production (see screen shot 2).I feel like this constraint is not in DTM. In the West Coast Office Hours on 8/15, I believe I heard in the recording a statement like this "The success message won't be shown until your deploy/build is actually published"When I do a Build to Stage, I get the green circle (denoting the build was successfully) and then almost 2 minutes later, the change will show up in my embed code.Now, I know 2 minutes is pretty speedy...I was under the impression, though, with the statement in the Office Hours that the timing of the message being shown was a big deal for the Launch team so I expected the message and the embed code to be more in sync. I am logged into DTM directly, not via an Adobe ID.I have a new Web Property and I am trying to add the Adobe Analytics Tool.The option to:Authenticate via: Marketing Cloudis greyed out.  That is, I cannot select the radio button next to Marketing Cloud.My Adobe Analytics login IS via Marketing Cloud.Do I have to have access to DTM via Marketing Cloud in order to select this option?  Or is there some other issue preventing me from selecting it?

I am new to DTM and adobe analytics. I took some trainings about DTM and Adobe analytics. I am still feel pretty confuse about "could I re-use the variables". For example if I decided to assign eVar1 = productID in a property, could I use eVar1 for something else in other property?Is eVar/ prop unique in a property or report suite? If so, what's the best way to track which eVar/prop have been used for what?Also for all the eVars or Props, is there guidance which variables should use for which kind of event/ values?
