We have .pgp encrypted files being ingested from Data Landing Zone via API. We would like to reference a source field attribute and update an existing target attribute that does not exist in the schema (or source file). Is this possible via Data Prep? Or would this require a post ingestion ETL with something like Data Distiller?

Hi, I have implementation knowledge of Adobe analytics using Adobe Lunch but am very new to the Web SDK or Mobile SDK. I am supposed to create Button tracking, Click tracking, Swipe & Scroll tracking, Button Tapped, Onpress Tracking, Video(Play,pause,end) tracking for mobile SDK. I've gone through the Adobe docs, but none mentioned the step-by-step guide, on1, How do we create rules on click/button tapped tracking?2, How to create data elements?3, How to Map the evars/props/events?4, How do we send the data to adobe analytics report suites?5, What are the extensions to be used?6, Do we need a data layer for Mobile SDK? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi @members,  I wonder what's the best solution to update a dataflow, here is the background: We have a existing scheduled dataflow, which will ingest data every day, and there are mapping, dataset, schema associate with this dataflow. If we need to add a new field to the schema, and would like to use this dataflow as well, what changes we need to make? Please correct me if I'm wrong:1. Update the schema with new field2. Update the mapping with new fieldI know we patch the dataflow with the new field in mapping through API but is there any option through UI to update the dataflow by mapping new field going to start flowing next day? If I do it from UI, I have scheduled dataset so when we wait for source file to arrive it ingest the data without new field and then I have to update dataflow and ingest same file again to have new field in datalake.  Thanks

Hi Team, Is there anyway to update the destination dataflow in AEP, for example, i have built the Dataflow to write the data to GCS bucket, my first run extracted all the data and pushed it to the bucket and the subsequent runs were bringing the incremental data , everything works fine till now, however we decided to include manifest file to the export so that we can use it as a trigger for our pipelines to run in our Google cloud. But when we tried to implement this it didn't let us update the dataflow, instead we ended up building a new one, the challenge here is when the new dataflow is built it is bringing in all the data (Even when incremental options is selected). Any other option to update the destination dataflow without recreating it? ThanksNaresh

Hi everyone, I’m looking for guidance on how to duplicate an existing schema in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for testing purposes, without affecting the original schema.For example, I’d like to change the data type of a field from integer to string and observe how incoming data behaves. Instead of making this change directly in the original schema, I want to create a copy of the schema, apply the change there, and verify how the data flows through it.Does AEP support duplicating a schema directly, or is there a recommended way to clone and modify a schema safely? Also, if I were to update the data type (e.g., from integer to string) directly in the original schema, what impact would that have on incoming data? When I start to create a new Data Element in an Event Forwarding property with "Data Element Type" set to "Custom Code", the default code includes a notification that the 'arc' and 'utils' variables are available.  Where is the documentation that explains these variables? There are scattered mentions of both 'arc' and 'utils' in the Adobe documentation, but nothing that actually documents the available methods or use cases.

Hi there, When creating a Connection on CJA, enabling backfill of data for my dataset, after processing the backfill I get a backfill status "backfills failed". Is it possible to get an error diagnostic for the failure? What could cause a backfill to fail?  Thanks in advance, Liz

Regarding the process of transferring audiences/segments created in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to Adobe Campaign v8, what are the differences between the following methods?"Activate audiences from the Browse page" explained on the Activation Overview page of the Experience Platform site."Activate Adobe Experience Platform segments to your destinations using Amazon S3 connection type" video in the Campaign Tutorial > Integration with Experience Platform section on Experience League."Send Adobe Experience Platform audiences to Campaign" and "Sync profile attributes between Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Campaign" described in the Campaign v8 Documentation section on Experience League.Can activation be completed using just one of these methods, or does the choice depend on the system environment? We've completed initial Adobe Mobile SDK configuration, including push notification setup, but still looking for how best to set/map our mobile app code as it is in a different language (C#) than any available documentation and sample code. I am looking for a mobile SDK function that returns the user's segments.I am looking in the documentation, but I can't find it.  I understand that I can do it via an API call, but I would like to know if there is a way to do it with a function so it returns all the segments in an object that I can later refer in different parts of the app and I don't have to call it more than needed.
