Description -Why is this feature important to you - - We need to share an annual receipt with our customers for tax purposes. The file needs to be in a format that is not easily editable. - Not all customers have an account, so the requirement to create and account to access the PDF is not an option. How would you like the feature to work - - We need to be able to pick up the appropriate version of the PDF from a server based on customer ID and attach the version to the email and deliver to the customer. This is possible in other Email Solutions (Acoustic, SendGrid, MailGun) - A url to the PDF is not acceptable....unless the URL could locked down to only that email address, with no ability to guess/hack/scrap and determine the location of the other files for the customer. Current Behaviour -Need to engaged Third-party tools
HI all,I recently came across a issue in AJO mail where if I use contextual or personalization attributes in the url link. I was unable to track the click events in cja?.In some way, the ajo is not recognizing that as a link.Is there a way to force say the link to be tracked? or any alternative?Link to track - https://{{variable1}}/ test/{{variable2}}I found this document - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-cloud-kcs/kbarticles/ka-23027Let me know of any leads.I doubt If I use this way https://Test/{{variable1}}/ test/{{variable2}} this will work. But need to try
Assuming I want to create offer regarding the Credit Card. However based on the user credit scoring details of the offer might differ. Is it possible in the offer to personalize offer copy based on the profile attributes which tell us about credit card interest rate for the specific user?
Hi,I am working on creating a Dynamic Template using Conditional Rules. While adding a condition to my rule, I was able to add 5 values. However seeing below issue: For my use case, when I tried to add 200 values, it showed an error.Did not find any mention of this limitation or guardrail in the documentation. But it will be helpful if some one can help me with the details. Thank you in Advance!Referring below page:Create conditions | Adobe Journey Optimizer
August '25 release notes Check out what's new and improved in the latest Adobe Journey Optimizer product release update: Release Notes New capabilities Pause and resume journeys: You can now pause and resume your journeys. This capability gives journey practitioners greater control and flexibility by allowing live journeys to be temporarily suspended without disrupting customer experience. When paused, no communications are sent, and profiles remain in a suspended state until the journey is resumed. You can pause and resume one journey only, or perform bulk pause and resume operations to a group of journeys. In addition, you can apply global filters to paused journeys to exclude profiles based on their attributes. Previously released in Limited Availability, this capability is now available to all environments (General Availability). Calendar view: A calendar view is now available in the journeys and campaigns lists. It allows you to visualize all journeys and c
I wonder i sombody knows anyting about how the Mirror Page link is build, the structure of the link.I have faced a problem that in some cases I get a Mirror Page URL without the /ee in the final link in an email. And that link does not work. Sometimes I get a Mirror Page with the /ee included in the link, and then it works. I can manually change the link in my browser (set in the /ee in the right place, and then it works)https://data.nordea-test.cjmadobe.com/ee/v1/ ..................https://data.nordea-test.cjmadobe.com/v1/ ..................So the one million dollar question, what causes the /ee to be created in the final link, and what make this to be left out when rendering the link. Since it is the same mistake every time withe the same letters, this to letters must have some connection to something in the solution - putting them into the final URL.
Introduction The LINE channel in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) allows you to deliver rich, interactive messages directly to customers. The LINE channel is available through action campaigns or as a node on the journey canvas in Journey Optimizer. LINE is a messaging app with strong usage in Southeast Asia and Japan. It is considered Japan’s most popular app with 97M users (source: Digital Marketing for Asia). To learn more about how to use the LINE channel in Journey Optimizer, click here. In this guide, we’ll start with a simple campaign that sends a LINE Message and then step up to an advanced use case where we combine Custom Actions and Expression Fragments to send dynamic, personalized messages in a Journey. Use Case #1: LINE Message Campaign Just like the other native channels in AJO, LINE is fully supported as a native channel, giving you access to all AJO features right out of the box. You can send a wide variety of message types, including text, stickers, images, video
Hello, I have a recurring journey that uses batch audience. I have also enabled the option of triggering the journey after batch evaluation. 1) If batch evaluation starts at 2PM PST, how long does the job takes to refresh the audience ?2) If I start my journey at 6PM PST, and specify wait time of 1 hour in "Trigger after batch audience evaluation". Will my journey start by 7 PM PST ? ThanksAB
1. I create read audience journey - merge policy for profile attributes in personalization syntax would be taken from merge policy from that segment2. Event journey - default merge policy - email default set up in AJO?
Hi Everyone,I wanted to check if anyone has previously migrated email templates from SFMC to AJO. If so, could you please share the steps or best practices followed during the migration? Understanding the process will help us plan and execute the migration more efficiently. if there's any documentation you can share.
In documentation there is an example: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configuration/primary-email-addresses#in-the-email-configuration In my env:
As an email developer, I’ve created a two-column responsive email using AJO’s Content Editor. The email renders well across most email clients; however, Outlook 2016 and 2019 (120 DPI) appear to be pushing out the email margins. See the screenshot below. How can I resolve the margin issue in the mentioned clients?
I have created numerous templates using AJO's Content Editor and now need to access the HTML code to begin troubleshooting sevreral rendering issues I've encountered. As an Email Deverloper, how can I extract the HTML code from an Adobe Journey Optimizer email created in the Content Editor?
Hi,In a Unitary Event Journey with an entry event (e.g. "Event01"), what occurs when a profile which is already in the journey triggers another event of the same type (Event01)?This wiki explains that the profile can only have one instance in one journey at one time: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/orchestrate-journeys/manage-journey/entry-managementHowever, what happens to the data of subsequent events if a profile is already in a journey?E.g., profile triggers Event01 with status = 'a'Profile enters JourneyE.g., profile triggers Event01 again with status = 'b'Profile is already in Journey with Event01 status = 'a', so profile does not enter Journey with Event01 status = 'b'.Is it possible to access the second occurrence of Event01 with status = 'b' for the Profile which has already entered the Journey with Event01 status = 'a'? Will the journey's Event01 context update to show status = 'b' upon the second event occurring, or does that data need to b
Hi,I am using AJO and have a number of journeys scheduled daily at 8:00 AM. The scheduler is configured to refresh all audiences at 7:30 AM. If I check an audience individually, I see it was refreshed at 7:47 AM (Audience Properties /Last updated). However, when the journeys ran at 8:00 AM they took the previous day's audience members, and not the ones that show after the refresh. How much time should be left between the audience refresh scheduled time and the journey's start, to be sure that all audiences are refreshed and ready to use? I understand that it depends on the data and how many audiences are defined, but I would like to get some guidance on how to best estimates the timing in such a way we don't run journeys on outdated data.

Hi everyone, In the new Adobe Campaign Orchestrations release, we now have the capability to define relational schemas. While going through the documentation, I noticed mentions of a “recipient” schema, and I have some questions regarding how it works: As I understand it, there is no out-of-the-box recipient relational schema in AJO (unlike Adobe Campaign Classic), so any recipient schema needs to be built manually. Is that correct? If we build a recipient schema and additional relational schemas (e.g., loyalty transactions, loyalty membership) and link them to the Profile schema, do we also need to manually populate the data in these schemas for them to work with targeting and identity relationships? Or is there some automatic mechanism (like a view over Profile) that populates these schemas? I belive need to fill maully, no view. My concern is this: if data is already coming into the Profile Service, and then we also need to load the same data again
It is important to us that, when you import a package with changes to existing email Fragments the existing Fragment can be updated not just imported. When you use Fragments in many templates it become a problem when the Newley imported fragment comes in as a new "file with a new id" the templates using the old existing fragment is not been updated with the new version. This most be done manually template by template where the fragments is used - and change the old one to the new one. We hope that this can be automated when importing a fragment you can choose is this new one should update a old one - and witch. Even better is you also can do multiple selection where it is the same process for many segments.
We would like to have the possibility to put conditions on a whole e-mail fragment, on the fragment it self. Meaning when creating a Fragment it would be nice to be able to create conditions on how the fragment should behave when been used. It could be conditions like, who should be able to see this Fragment and not bases on attributes. This can be done today but with coding it directly in the Fragment code. A interface to do this would be very helpful and create a new dimension to the use of Fragments. Yes this can be done inside the template when dragging the fragment in, and setting the condition on the container - but it we do this in the fragment itself this is then pre defined for all user that used this fragment - and is working directly out of the box when dropping the fragment into a template. This is really helpful if you are creating a library with pre defined Fragments with pre defined logic on the fragment. Then the end user can just use them without setting the right
What is the difference? 🙂
Hi, We are creating an email templates using building blocks options and whilst drag and drop of structures, we couldn't add 1:1 and n:n columns in same container. Is there a limitation we need to know? Thanks, Kind regards,Kiran Buthpur
As of now, we can see the custom alerts possible through admin console. However, we dont see any option to create a custom alert using any one bounce. We need the column details like who is bounced back, reason for bounce, journey name, timestamp. Can we able to use custom alert option for the above requirement. if so, please share the step by step Navigate to the developer console.Add events to your project. When adding events, specify the type of events you're interested in. If you want notifications for events in AEP, choose platform notifications.Further, select the specific event types, such as failure or success. When we follow the above steps, i can see standard alert only. how do we create custom alert for a dataset which we created ourself.
Hi,I am working on to create content fragments with editable fields in our emails and observed that when we use any image url and url field in a fragment, AJO add an extra space character before and after the provided value. This extra space breaks the images and links in some of the email clients.Does someone know any workaround this issue?
Description - Would love to see Adobe Journey Optimizer enhanced with an AI-based feature that detects and alerts on journey anomalies—such as sharp engagement drops, routing errors, or unexpected delays in customer progress. Why is this feature important to you - Improves real-time decision-making by flagging issues before they hurt the customer experience.Helps marketers optimize journeys proactively rather than reactively.Reduces manual effort in monitoring complex journeys across channels. How would you like the feature to work -This could be powered by Adobe Sensei and visualized through a heatmap or alerts dashboard, with potential tie-ins to Adobe Analytics and Workfront. Curious if others see value in this? Would this help your teams optimize journeys more efficiently?
DescriptionAdobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) currently provides a "Copy Technical Details" option in the UI that exposes key configuration parameters of a journey in JSON format. This includes important fields such as throttlingRatePerSec, entryConditions, and activity configuration. However, this JSON is only accessible manually via the user interface, and not available through any public API. Why is this feature important to youWe are building governance and automation processes to validate AJO journeys before and after publishing. One of our goals is to enforce configuration standards, such as ensuring that the throttlingRatePerSec is always set to a specific value (e.g., 500).Having API access to this technical JSON would allow us to implement:Automated pre-publication approval workflowsRegular audits of existing journeysCI/CD-like governance for journey configurationWithout programmatic access, we are forced to rely on manual inspection, which is time-consuming and error-prone.&n
