Adobe Target

I'm creating an activity that needs to shown to audiences who are located in the tri-state or NY Metropolitan area. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any simple or efficient methods to create this audience. The only feasible solution I can currently see would be to include every municipality and city, or zip code in metropolitan area, which would be tedious on my end. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm trying to complete the exercise "Creating an Activity: Targeting Return Customers".It says to create this audience without using analytics."The VP of your department, internet sales, would like to offer a 10% discount to any customer who returns to the site without having made a purchase their previous visits."I can't find a way to target the people who didn't make any purchase. How would you do that?

Hi Team,I am firing mbox profile parameters on page A through a monitoring campaign such that if a user meets the condition then mbox profile param sets to true.I am using this true value as a qualifying criteria for an experience audience (let's say expA) in an  AB activity defined on page B (page B comes after page A in the journey). This is running good so far.However if I close the session and comes back to website , this time I qualify for another experience audience (let's sat expB ) of the same AB activity. But this time I again get the experience of expA. This is due to in same session the mbox profile parameter is set as true so everytime it is evaluating expA.How can I prevent this ?

I'll be firing up a test in the near future and on the same day we will be activating an Audience based upon a custom Mbox parameterMy question is, does it take time to build up this audience, or will Target know to include the visitor right away upon page load ?The order of actions in Launch areLoad Target > Response Token Listener > Add Params to All Mboxes > Fire Global MboxAs a hypothetical, let's say we want to only include logged-in usersIn Launch, the data element indicating the logged-in status is added as a parameter to all mboxes and this will be published in LaunchVery soon after, when the parameter becomes available in the Create Audience > Add Rule > Custom > Parameters drop down, the audience will be added to the test and the test will be activatedIf a visitor then accesses the page where the test lives, will the be eligible for the test upon that page load ?

Can anybody share your thoughts around how to load Adobe Target async while the launch is loaded synchronously?We had this option in DTM by using a checkbox.

Hello Everyone, I am trying to update a JSON offer from API as we want to update activity real-time based upon an event triggered from the web / App I got a response from the API that it was updated and it was listed in the list of the offer if I do a GET curl with offset limit, But it doesn`t show up in the Adobe Target real-time like others create/update CURL`s does. Hello, I am doing a POC on the Adobe Target Server Side implementation. It will technically be hybrid in that I will take what the Target delvers back to the node.js and drop it into an object. Then I will use the SPA to grab the experience/markup from the object.My question has to do with the visitorApi. In the below snippet from the sdk, we assume the user has a visitor cookie(AMCID). If the user has never visited the site he/she wont be eligible for any activities at all.With that said, am I missing something here? Should I make the visitor api call from my node js server and passing that to target and also back in the response header to be set on the client side like it would if it was initiated from the client side?

We are trying to build the product recommendations functionality with Adobe Target, and the major challenge we are experiencing is that the ftp server set up for product feed. We already have our feed set up in few sftp servers, but our understanding is that we cannot used secured ftp for Adobe Target (which is very strange). Do you have a work around for this? We could not convince our information security to set up a ftp that is not secured.

I would like to understand from other Target or optimization experts if you have worked on an A/B test where you have not split 50-50 traffic between the control and the challenger and if yes what's the reason behind it.I understand that doing a 50-50 split reach the statistical significance faster thus reducing the testing period.What if I do a 20-80 or 80-20 split? Hi,I had some experience Targeting Activity running on a react app. I have placed code on URL path change to trigger triggerView() function which is working fine.I did some personalizations like changing text etc. All of them works fine when I navigate to the views via website clicks.But when I click on browser back button, it shows the default content of view and not the content coming from Target activity.Has anyone got similar issue and the way to resolve it.ThanksSambhav

Is this possible?The test was set up to Auto allocate to best performing experience so it seems Target was used as the reporting source for the test.Only we need to understand how the test experiences is performing on other key success metrics and we cant seem to add them in.Is there a way to do this or use analytics to see the users in the current test and then report on them that way?ThanksMatt
