Adobe Target

Hi there, I am having an odd issue where only "User Management" is available as an Integration service via the Adobe Target I/O API.  I need "Adobe Target" available.  Is there something that needs to be configured to make this available?  Thanks in advance!Brian 

Hello,I have created a few segments in Adobe Analytics and pushed it to Experience cloud so that I could use them as Audiences in Target.But when I checked the Audiences under Target, I see multiple instances of these segments showing. One segment shows up 3 times, with same name.In Analytics, there is just one segment.I have deleted them from Audience Library, but still they are showing up in Target Audience.Can anyone let me know how do I delete the multiple instances of audiences in target, so that only 1 segment is shown as audience?Thank you.

Hi Folks,We are running AB test with manual 50/50 traffic split between control and challenger, When we looked at the report for 5 days of data, reports shows that in challenger visitor numbers are 15% higher than control. We are doing manual traffic split to both the experience and % is equally divided 50%.So I would like to understand technically how manual traffic allocation works in Adobe target. 15% difference in traffic allocation in manual AB test is huge for US to decide winning experience.Regards,Manish Agravat

Hi,We have configured our search using S&P. However, when we search a page which also has a vanity URL added to it, both the main URL and the vanity path is coming in the search results. Ideally this should not be the case. Like i Google search we hide the vanity URL from it. We want something similar for S&P too. Can someone please help with how we should configure it?

Hi all, can someone please tell what is the maximum possible length of a profile script attribute?Adobe documentation states "Do not exceed 1,300 characters or 50 loop iterations" but thats for the script-code itself. Thanks in advance,Rajneesh

We are trying to understand if Target has the ability to run a/b tests behind authentification. We use at.js and AEM. I tried setting up a test using Visual Experience Manager with a URL behind login, and it wouldn't let me set up the test. Wanted me to log in. Is this something we can do with a regular mbox? There are common page elements after users login that we'd like to test. Thanks for any help!

Is there a way to push profile.geolocation.country in my mbox response? I was looking at profile scripts but I can't seem to access the DOM through it.  I know I can create experienced based on country, but I would like to leverage that information for other purposes. Thanks,

Hello all,The Problem Currently I'm working at an organisation that has an over reliance on re-direct tests, I understand that in certain circumstances this method is effective but currently around 80% of our tests are set up in this way. Obviously running a re-direct test involves building a new page and really slows down the entire testing process.In my mind I see three tiers of testsTier 1Basic VEC tests that can be done by a non-dev, this would include text, Imagery and minor layout changesTier 2These tests include the above and introducing new sections into the page and more major layout changesTier 3This would be major changes to the page or even a full page re-designCurrently we would default to a re-direct test for anything that fell into tier 2 or tier 3 (above), what I would like to understand is for a tier 2 (partial re-design) and a tier three test (full page re-design) what would be the most efficient way of running this test without a re-direct test?I want to avoid runnin

I am having trouble setting up the "goals and settings" tab in Adobe Target. I attempting an MVT test, however I am unable to get the "goal metric" portion set up correctly. On a typical A/B test, I am able to select two options under "what do you want to measure with this activity"; "Conversion" and "Use an Analytics metric".On the MVT test I am trying to set up, I only am able to choose "conversion" as an option. For some reason the option for "Use an Analytics metric" does not show up in the dropdown. I would like to know if it's possible to set that up? If so, how can I enable the option?I am using Adobe Analytics as a "Reporting Source" on both the A/B and Multivariate tests.

Hi Guys,I have been asked to setup a test to remove a module from the product page of our website. This module is only present on for certain product pages meaning it does not show up for all the product pages.I was wondering if I use the VEC - remove element feature, what will happen when the module or the element is not present on the page. Hi All,We have a scenario, where we want to show experience only once to user, until and unless user cleared all cookies etc. One way to handle this is manually through code, by storing a flag in localStorage or something like that and then suppressing experience (By writing custom code). Hello,I'm noticing various stakeholders are unable to load the reporting interface within Target. When selecting "reporting", the table and graphs never appear on an active test. However the UI, tables and graphs load just fine from my end. Any suggestions how to troubleshoot? It appears intermittent between users. Most everyone is using the newest version of Chrome.

Hi all,As I'm quite new to Target Premium, I would like to ask you about Auto-Target and Automated Personalization as the following:1. Referred to this paragraph “The length of time it takes for models to build in your Auto-Target activity typically depends on the traffic to                       your selected activity location(s) and your activity success metric. For Auto-Target, simple rules of thumb can be used to understand traffic requirements:When Conversion is your success metric: 1,000 visits and at least 50 conversions per day per experience, and in addition the activity must have at least 7,000 visits and 350 conversions.”If the activity has run for a while, but the traffic is inconsistency. For example, there is more than 1000 visits and at least 50 conversions per day per experience for first 3 days, but for the 4th day the conversion and traffic dramatically dropped which less than the minimum requirement and also happen for another next day. I am looking for a way to export activity's metric data with daily granularity. I have gone through the target API documentation and it does not mention anything about granularity or date range. It only has the performance report section which does not give the option to set granularity or select a date range.Please suggest, how can I use the API to get the granular data or suggest an alternate way to get the granular data. Hi All,We are using Adobe Target Standard in our implementation. We have only one mbox defined (Global mBox). I am trying to pass the product category information to Target using data elements in DTM. However, category information is not getting passed from DTM to Target. Also, I am defining user.categoryId parameter in DTM to pass the category to Target & hoping to get "frequently visited categories" in category affinity array. Should I use user.categoryId or just categoryId? I am totally confused on how to pass the category information from DTM to Target & populate the same in the array which can be used in Target?I would like to verify whether my approach is correct here? If not then what is the correct approach to populate favorite categories in category affinities array?Appreciate your responsesThank YouKamesh

But, I see the click tracking call failing in the network tab & do not see the click tracked in the reports. Hi there!I now have my A/B test with URL redirect set up! 50% of users that land on site.com/a are successfully getting redirected to site.com/bThe issue I'm experiencing is that the intital page (site.com/a) loads fully before the redirect (to site.com/b) happens ... this means the user sees the two pages and also the page loading time is slowed down considerably.Does anyone have any experience with this or advice on how I might correct? Ideally the user wouldn't see site.com/a at all when the redirect condition is met....GIF attached showing redirect behaviour
